“Had breakdown first year I had policy. Prompt, efficient service. Reasonable cost for "any vehicle" cover.”

“Called out once in the last year, car wasn't fixed or towed to a near by garage. Ending up having to call out a mobile car mechanic who diagnosed the problem and fixed my car. So I would say a very poor service from start rescue for a first time use.”

“I have not used your breakdown service over the last year so cannot comment on this. I am, however, pleased with the way I have been dealt with when contacting Start Rescue. A phone number is easy to find and calls are responded to quickly by helpful operatives.”

“Have had this Insurance for many years on and off for many years and I think I'm here to stay does what it's supposed too and at a good price which does'nt shoot up each year too much ....phone operaters are always so helpful so 5 stars from me which is rare keep doing it right Start Rescue !!”

“I have not needed to use the breakdown service myself, thankfully, but from what I’ve read and from people we know, everyone seems really happy with the help they’ve had when they’ve broken down. In a time when everything’s going up in price, Start Rescue seem to offer great value for money and it’s nice to see renewals often go down in price for a change!”

“I've only needed to call for help once in fours years but the system worked fine and value for money is excellent, which is why I switched from the RAC after more than 30 years. A change of debit card number stopped the auto renew so I had to phone in. The call was answered commendably promptly. The chap I spoke to was efficient and friendly.”

“Haven't had the need for a callout yet so cannot comment on that aspect. Renewal is straightforward but fees need monitoring as it has increased 36% year on year with the admin fee making up 48% of the total. Hence, can only award 3 stars.”

“Very competitive price and excellent levels of cover including European cover . I have a loyalty discount which is great to be recognised as a loyal customer. Easy to use website and getting documents online is really covenient.”
