“Car broke down in Devon while I was visiting family. Couldn't be fixed so they took me and the car back home to Merseyside, no quibbles. Needless to say I renewed when the time came.”

“Which? recommended Startrescue and they are generally a reliable source. My son has also used Startrescue in the past and found them very good. I have not yet used their service but found their website very easy to follow.”

“I've been with Start Rescue 4 yrs now. I've probably needed them 4 times and they have been excellent. I've never waited longer than 40 minutes. Needed to be recovered a few times and the recovery Truck has always turned up quickly. I've also been fixed at the roadside as well and was back on my way within an hour. What better service could you ask for.”

“I haven't called on them for a long time, but have complete confidence that they will respond as well as any other service if not better. Their app based approach is easy to use and certainly as good as the competitor that I had to use once before. It's hard to make comparisons with a product like this. The only glitch I had was when renewal was due and they seem to have stopped accepting Amex. Their communication then was a little abrupt.”

“I can't give a full review because I've only just joined and haven't made a claim. But I found it easy to join via The Internet (rather than long phone calls - forever on hold) and was pleased to see the initial joining fee is low cost because one has to pay £30 for every call-out. I have a new, quite expensive car and do little mileage, so don't ever expect to make a claim. Start Rescue suits me fine. I can only suggest that you could have let me pay via PayPal as I've used them for years and fully trust them.”

“I found it really easy to set up my new policy. The price was extremely competitive as you use the same format of service as Greenflag (using appointed companies to attend breakdowns). Easy to navigate website and professional looking online customer account page. Hopefully, with having a disabled child, if I ever have to call them out the breakdown service is just as professional and efficient.”

“Only just joined, membership not operational for further couple of weeks so cannot comment on service yet. That said the joining process was very easy and the various levels of levels of membership alllowed me to avoid paying for services I don't need.”

“I hope I don't need to use the service, but the application process and the App look good, as are the reviews and awards. The price was good as well, but not anymore important than the reviews. Hopefully if I do need to call, the service will be as good as the systems.”

“3/4 year renewal. Never needed to make any breakdown call out. Hopefully not. So the only ratings I can give, is the user friendly process at first sign up, and the repeat renewal process. However, I do get seriously annoyed and frustrated that the direct renewal request, is always slightly more than comparison sites. Which applies to car insurance policies also REALLY!!!. Otherwise. Excellent.”

“I did unfortunately have to use the service this last year as my car would not start, the phone agent was really professional and the recovery agent was prompt and knowledgeable! I felt very confident in taking out another years policy.”
