“It was straightforward to join. My cover doesn’t start until July 1st but it seems straightforward to either use the app or telephone in the event of a breakdown. Although there were several cheaper options I like the fact it has been recommended by ‘Which’. several times in succession.”

“I signed up to Start Rescue when I read the reviews and is recommended by Which. I have been a member of the AA for 23 years and premium increases every year which has made it far too expensive. I was offered £91 discount when I rang to cancel. Told they send out the 'true value figure' but looking at account brought the price down. So basically we could have paid the 'true value' and been none the wiser. Start Rescue sounds more transparent and the App looks straightforward. Hopefully we won't need to call them out. I like the idea that they have independent recovery firms and not a fleet of their breakdown vehicles.”
