“I have been with Start Rescue for a number of years now. It is hands down the best breakdown cover I have purchased. The price, customer service, and speed and efficiency of the call outs when needed have all been first rate. Highly recommend”

“Really excellent company tbh - great unlimited call outs and great bods in person or on phone. And ace prices too - plus loyalty reductions etc - 5 out of 5 (I don't know if it worked when I clicked on the 5 stars above!). Cheers”

Hello Gary, Thank you for your feedback. We took the step last year to be more transparent to customers, with regards to the fees that we apply to policies. The arrangement and administration fee is for administering your policy and handling breakdown claims, instead of, or in addition to receiving commission from the insurer. We collect our fee within the same transaction, as we used to, but now detail our fee within the breakdown of the price you will pay. “Car battery went flat and I couldn't start the car when in the Sainsburys car park. Help arrived within approx half an hour (maybe less). Generator tested and found to be ok. Car started and new battery bought next day. Problem solved.”

“Only had one breakdown few years back. Dealt with ok. There app no good to us as we only have a basic phone Pensioners. Always renew online yearly. Seems straight fordward, odd hiccup. Prices lower than most, so give it a try.”
