“Not too sure why it is so expansive and was pretty cross there was no renewal notification. My fault I left it on auto but even so I would have expected some sort of warning. They seem to talk about rewarding loyalty but I don’t see it.”

We would like to confirm that renewal notifications are sent to all of our customers on the email address registered to their policy one month prior to the renewal date. We always ensure renewal prices are less than our standard retail prices for a like for like policy. Any increase in cost could be as a result of a vehicle moving into a different age bracket. “I've had cover for quite a few years never had to call so can't comment on that side of the service. Cost seems to be on vehicle age rather than reliability”

“Very reasonably priced service and excellent response when I had a tire blow out on the M6. The app was easy to use to arrange the call out and within a few minutes I had a confirmation that someone would be with me within an hour. Considering the time of day it was I thought this was very impressive. They also gave me a call to make sure I was ok before the pickup truck arrived. The engineer who came out to me was polite and very helpful, dropped my car off at a suitable garage and then dropped me at work. I would recommend Start Rescue to everyone.”

“Mechanic turned up within alloted time slot. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain why my car wouldnt start. He also gave me some tips to help if it happens again, to avoid a breakdown.”

“Just 3 hours after my phone call to Start Rescue a breakdown lorry arrived to recover my car. My call to their rescue centre was dealt with courtesy and most of all, the operators understanding of my problem which helped considerably to reduce my worry.”

“Easy to navigate website, clear pricing and breakdown recovery options. I have covered 2 vehicles each year on my policy and am pleased to have this recovery service choice. It’s a good value policy from a Which recommended source.”

“Signing up, annual payments and access to documents etc. are all easy. Have only required one item of assistance but the reaction time was brilliant as was the help provided on the phone when I didn't have my account details. So far, after a number of years, all positive. Cheers”

“I have notyhing but praise for Start Rescue. I have had to use their services a couple of time sover the years and they are superb, fast, friendly and keep a check on you to make sure you are safe and kept 'in the loop' knowing where the rescue guys are. Compared with the so called big boys ? I would go Start Rescue everu time.”
