“The lads at the garage were very good but I had booked to have my tyres changed on Friday at 11 am and, when I got there, they explained that the delivery would not be for another hour or an hour-and-a half. They said this always happened with early deliveries and they had complained many times but nobody listened to what they had to say. We could not find another convenient slot until Monday when they carried out the work. I had to wait about twenty minutes whilst they dealt with an earlier customer then but they told me that when I arrived and the work was completed quickly and efficiently once the bay was free. The experience meant that I had extra journeys to make and extra time wasted. Since the other online quotes were very similar and I chose this for convenience, I seem to have lost out. Others may wish to bear this in mind when they choose the supplier.”

“The tyres and price where perfect but both my alloy wheels where damaged quite bad by the fitter. I spoke to who was in charge and he acknowledged that they where damaged. He told me I needed to return when his boss was there which means more time off work and a trip across town. I still dont know what they are goin to do to sort them out without leaving me without a vehicle:”

“Well I left with the tyre i'd pre-booked, so that was successful. Done quickly and for a good price. The whole experience in the shop wasn't so nice. There were no obvious signs telling you where to go, it was hard to tell who worked there and who didn't and nobody approached me for quite a while to see why I was there. A little bit of improvement and signage would improve the overall experience.”

“The only reason i haven't rated with very poor is becouse they fixed fast (their mistake). I had booking for 12 o'clock and got in at 2:30. Changed the tires (wrong) and didn't gave me my good old tires back. Fitting and balancing included... no balance... done it in t*** fit. I will never be back again”

“Excellent fitted price for a new set of Maxxis HP5, went on Saturday morning to Burton, and a gent called Ali was very helpful even though he was run off his feet. Left the car went for a walk and everything was done promptly. Ali even advised me of something mechanical i may need to look at and quoted me for it. Very happy with the price and Ali was both friendly and professional. Will certainly recommend and use again.”

“I purchased from Speedy's because they had the lowest prices on-line and had a branch only 4 miles away in Burton. Fitting was arranged for 11:00 am on a Monday. When I arrived they were very busy and I was only able to grab a spot in the card park because someone was leaving. The guy at the desk was polite and helpful and apologised for any delay as it was going to take some 20 minutes before my tyres could be fitted. I left them the keys and walked to Aldi, grabbed some shopping and walked back. I was gone just over 20 minutes. When I got back my car was sitting in the same spot but with two new tyres and the wheels had been balanced. I will use Speedy's again as I got a great price and excellent service.”

“I can't comment on the workmanship but regarding booking appointments to have a job done it's poor. I was promised an late appointment twice and by the time I got there the tyre guy and the manager have left site. So disappointed.”

“Dissatisfied with the work the mechanic seemed disinterested in what he was doing and the result is my car drifts to the left indicating that the tracking was not done properly when I arrived home my hands were covered in oil from the mechanic using the steering wheel and brake lever. I phoned up and complained and was told I could come in and have the car checked but I would rather have the money I paid reimbursed as why should you have to take the car back the work should have been done properly first time”

“Ordered my tyre online with a planned fitting date & time, I fought my way through town to get there at the time specified only to be told it was not there, I was also told that it would be chased up & they would let me know what was happening, this did not happen, I had to call them the next day to check if it was in, the guy claims he left a voicemail, yet I had nothing on my phone saying this! When I turned up on the agreed fitting day & time & was told it was not there, I asked how do I get a refund, only to be told 'you need to go to the website & contact them' but guess what, there is no 'them' as the only contact numbers are the ones for the tyre place itself. Let's put it this way, I won't be going there again, there are plenty more efficient tyre companies in the area & cheaper, oh, as well, as the tyre I ordered online had not arrived when it should've, the guy tried to sell me an alternative at nearly twice the price!”

“I went in to the nottingham branch and Darren was very helpful we found a set of wheels for my car and with in 5 days they had been delivered and gutted on my car very good service highly recommend”
