I am extremely disappointed with the paintwork that was done on my car at the Leicester branch of Speedy's. Despite specifically booking black callipers and black hubs, I arrived to find that my brakes had been painted red, including the suspension and all moving parts. This was not what I had requested or agreed upon. Not only was the work done incorrectly, but it also resulted in issues with my brakes. One side became stuck and the brakes started overheating, causing further damage. I had to take my car to another garage, where they informed me that all the brakes needed to be stripped down and cleaned. Additionally, I had to replace the brake pads and sensors, as they were covered in paint. This cost me an additional £170 in parts and labor. While Speedy's did refund the £199 I paid for the paintwork, I am still out a total of £369. This is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using Speedy's for any paintwork on your car.

I would not recommend anyone to go there Not trustworthy at all. The staff are rude and make you feel they doing a favour. Had a repair done and in ONE day same problem. All I got is there’s no guarantee pay another £60 and get it fixed again.

Cowboys !!! He put the trolley jack under the car then stood on it with both feet, put his greased hands on the car to support his self, then pumped the jack like mad, it slipped, and moved the car slightly, he then lowered it, and then did the same thing again with his feet,this time I told him it was high enough but carried on,his mate had to tell him stop I won’t be returning total cowboys,

Had an appointment today at 2pm for a tyre replacement paid for before hand only to arrive and find store closed and no one answering phone calls or emails... Made plans around work for this and not even the decency to call or email to cancel Will not be using them again....

Purchased wheels and tyres 20 months ago no problems great service. Renewed tyres yesterday to only find the rims had been scratched, offered to repair wheel but never the same as new,lost all confidence in them as a company.

This is the first time I have had such a bad experience servicing my car. I do apologise for the long review, but I decided to go in-depth about my experience with Speedy's Wheels Nottingham. I booked a car service for a wheel alignment at Speedy wheels mid of May. This came after the car MOT. I have to say both front tyres were worn out from the outside. Autoservice changed the ball joints and the suspension pins. I had to fit new front tyres and then took the car to Speedy's for oil/filter change and front wheel alignment. I left the car with Speedy's and they phoned me after an hour to say the car is ready for collection. I took it with good faith that they did the service as it should be. Unfortunately, by the end of July, I was shocked to see the front tyres worn out the same way as before. I felt disappointed that the new tyres wore out in less than 3 months. My mechanic checked the car and there was nothing wrong with it - It was simply the wheel alignment. I took it to another local garage (ABS MOTS) and then to national tyres. I got the same answer. I went to the 4 Seasons tyre shop and asked for a fourth opinion regarding this issue. The manager questioned the first alignment. His advice was to ask speedy wheels for the alignment report. If there is one, it should show the values before and after the alignment. If there is no report, then it is likely they didn't do the alignment. I made a complaint to Speedy's and after four weeks, I managed to talk to Sidique. He said he can't do anything as it's a franchise, but he will try to put me in contact with the branch manager (Abdul). I kept waiting to get a response, but nothing came through. I had to chase Speedy's up many times. I was told if the branch manager didn't contact me, then I could go to the Citizen advice bureau and seek help! Later on, I managed to speak to the branch manager. He questioned the incident and tried to take me through a different loop to not take any liability. Also, he didn't seem to have a good understanding of the wheel alignment process. After a long conversation, he offered to have a look around mid-September. The manager's negative approach and the delay I had were an indication that I was going nowhere with Speedy's. Therefore, I emailed the branch manager asking him to take responsibility for the damage caused by their negligence. The alternative is to provide a full alignment report as evidence that the alignment was done. Unfortunately, he refused. I gave Speedy's a fair chance to settle this issue. Unfortunately, They didn't have any intention to listen and take responsibility. Now, the car has new front tyres with a proper wheel alignment. This time it came with a detailed report (attached) showing the wheels were significantly misaligned. The person who did the alignment confirmed no one touched the bolt for quite a long time. It's worth mentioning the alignment took more than an hour, while Speedy's did the oil/filter plus wheel alignment in an hour! I feel disappointed, they didn't do the agreed job properly and also, they don't care about customer satisfaction. I would not recommend speedy's anymore. There are lots of bad reviews putting doubts about their service. Avoid them!!

Shocking work carried out by speedy wheels. Went to get brake callipers sprayed, just rattle canned everything. Not a professional job at all. Didn’t even have the correct colour I paid extra for.

Terrible customer service! I rang the Nottingham branch to book an MOT & Service in December, the guy on the call took my details and confirmed the slot. I arrived this weekend only to find out 'They don't do Saturdays' and was given no explanation or apology as to why this has happened. I drove 30 minutes on Saturday morning for absolutely nothing! I now have to rearrange my MOT & Service with another garage and hope they can squeeze me in before my MOT expires. Why on Earth did the guy on the phone allow me to book a Saturday when this wasn't the case?? The guy in the office did not care, and I was clearly an inconvenience to him. When I asked why this might have happened, he said he did not know and it's not written in his book... Speedy Wheels are clearly not working in 2022 as everything appears to be handwritten. Avoid these clowns at all costs!

Paid Speedys top money re furb on all four wheels strip blast powder coat and Diamondcut. Wheels were very poorly refurbished they just powder coated straight over the original paint and applied the Diamondcut finish with a Grinder I asked for a gloss black finish but what I received was a satin black finish the powder was so thick and the grinding was so poor they had excessive wheel weights on to try and balance the wheels I offered Speedy’s the chance to put right what have they done wrong but they just ignored me ignored all my phone calls ignored all my emails emails Avoid these people at all costs they are Cowboys Nottingham and Derby are run by the same people stay away

I had my car serviced at the Burton branch two weeks ago and I am still waiting for the 'print out' of service, for my cars records. I asked for this at the time and was told they don't do a print out for service history! In fact, they said, 'No one had asked before!' I was supposed to have had a 50 point check. The mechanics was more interested in me paying £279.00, there and then so he could order the part he said was needed. 'I'm doing you a favour,' he said, 'I'm only charging £70.00, for labour.' 'I just want my service details today,' I said. 'You will have to email us and next week someone will answer!' All I walked out with was an ATM receipt for the extra £49.00 for oil. (Service on top of this.) I have rang, the company emailed the company and branch and still no service details have been sent. I also noted, I went in with no water/screen wash and came out with no water/screen wash. I was not made to feel comfortable and no one was friendly. I definitely would not recommend this garage to other women.

My daughter called in at the Burton on trent depot. 1 very expensive for the work they've done, don't know all of the jobs as 2 daughter was not given a receipt for work undertaken. Disgusted that a company would take advantage of a single female travelling by herself.

Avoid at any cost had a brand new tire fitted 11 June tyre wall blows 2 weeks later they nearly crash my car ..go back they say its not our fault its the people we buy it from.

Avoid these cowboys, got some refurbed wheels there but instead of balancing the wheels properly and bolting the wheels on they left one wheel at rear loose so it became loose! Not only that but they refused to help me get the wheels re-aligned from the damage. Avoid! I highly doubt there mechanics are certified.

Had a wrong wheel alignment which led to the front tiers being gnawed on the exterior side in 3 months after the purchase! Four new tires both from Speedys and fitting done at Speedys Leicester. We had no reply back from speedy's Online whatsoever, and the service was unwilling to help . They were directing us back and forth from online to the service. Very unprofessional!

Callipers and hubs-refurbished/ painted a Middlesbrough today on my TT, think my nearby 4 year old grandson could have done a better job. Wish I’d just bought the heat resistant paint and done the work myself. Shoddy workmanship. Never again!

Absolute shambles. Took my car in to have a diamond cut alloy repair - looks shocking and now have to buy new wheel as they’ve discoloured and ground down to much to be salvaged. VW stated was dangerous. Avoid like the plague!

i think speedys they should be called slowcoaches waited half an hour for someone to serve me then served a lady who came in after me dont be fooled by that rim seal nonsense on alloy wheels for 10 pound its a con other garages do that free of charge when needed not impressed
