this time, we suffer with delivery related to Meraki switch ! the delivery plan was not respected and we got material in 2 separated batches, which is impact on our cost & margin. also final customer didn't trust us anymore and he stopped all contract with us, because the delivery is delayed 2 months!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am very sorry for the negative experience you have experienced after selecting Meraki products for your chosen solution. Meraki themselves handle the entire distribution network of their products and we have come to learn the hard way that, unfortunately, they do not provide accurate data around lead times or delivery dates and do not seem to have any concern about the problems that ends up causing. In your case, and many other of our clients' cases, we have relayed on to you exactly what we have been told by Meraki about expected lead and delivery times, in good faith that they would honour their promises. However, Meraki frequently change the stated lead times at their leisure once orders are processed without any context, excuse or explanation, and they expect us to accept it without issue. Their failure to deliver as they have told us has a direct repurcussion for you, and onward to your customer. Due to the large amount of issues we face with Meraki we are currently reviewing whether or not we continue to offer Meraki to our clients, as the damage being carelessly caused to client relations, both directly with us and onwards through the supply chain, is proving to be of huge detriment and heavily damaging long-established reputations. Unfortunately their level of quality and customer care is extremely sub-standard and it does not phase them, and the implication is that companies like ours and yours are the one that face the consequences. Although we have disappointed you on this order, I stress to you that this is not reflective of Sourcing-IT's usual service and we continue to deliver on our promises in close to all scenarios. We hope we will be able to rekindle our relationship in the near future. Thank you, and apologies once more for the problems that have been faced.

My last order was a complete disappointment. I was given the assurance that once payment is made, items will be shipped. Unfortunately, two weeks have elapsed and the items are stilol with OWL in the UK till now. Worst still order has been canceled by the end-user. It is so unfortunate

Hi Achazie, Thank you for taking time to leave your review. I am very sorry about the delay with your consignment, there have been massive delays at Lagos airport and kit has been left on the runway for days, if not weeks, due to the backlog of cargo that has been waiting to be cleared whilst the dispute was settled. There was some sort of argument between the workers on the ground and the body who manages the cargo and clearance. The usual total transit time is 7-10 days to Nigeria, so although we had the goods on the ground here in the UK after 2 weeks, we are only a matter of days away from being able to deliver it to you in Nigeria. Appreciating that the standard delivery time has lapsed, this is due to external factors that we wish we could influence. The carnage at the airport in Lagos has meant that, in a lot of cases, it has been a lot safer to keep the goods here in the UK until the back of the queue is no longer outside of the cargo sheds, to prevent damage or loss of the goods. The goods have literally been offloaded from the airplanes and left to bake in the sun and face the weather. As you can imagine we have had hundreds of orders affected by this and whilst we have tried to find a solution I’m afraid that these are factors far beyond our control, and although the delivery is taking longer the action taken by the freight network were taken to protect the interests of you – our client – so that there were working components delivered in the end, even if it was not on the original timescale. As a long-standing customer of ours your business is very important to us, and we would always help you to resolve the situation faced with your end-user as best we can. We stand ready to assist in every way we can – it is unfortunate that we have our hands tied in terms of the delivery due to external factors that are far beyond our control. In the 15 or so years and over 100 orders that we have worked on together, I believe this is one of very few negative experiences you have had with us - I'm sure the total number could be counted on one hand. We hope that this negative experience will not prevent you from continuing with our long and propserous business relationship and we look forward to helping you once again in the near future.

Thank you for sending your comments, we obviously strive to make sure we correct any mishaps as quickly as possible. In this case, we are sorry for the delay caused after the shipment method needed to be changed from the method on the original quotation after we had dispatched the consignment. We are doing what we can to accelerate the return of the goods from the courier to us for re-shipment on to you. Thank you for your patience and custom and we hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.

we expected you to carry out inspection tests before you shipped out our consignment, although we appreciated your gesture to do a post inspection even after our consignment arrived.

Thanks for your review. We understand that there were some difficulties with an inspection - we do routinely carry out pre-shipment inspections when we are informed by our clients that they would like it to be done. As you mentioned, we are doing our utmost from the UK to resolve the matter and reduce any further delays and we are doing all we can to rectify the situation. We regret that you have given us 1 star and now in the knowledge that you would like inspections we will make sure this happens every time. Most of all, we hope that our diligence and response to the situation will allow us to continue doing business with you.
