“Where do I start? The product sells itself. Period. Had Reference 4 Studio and now Sound ID, with mic and headphones. Moved from one state to another with teardowns and rebuilds. Whether you use to treat or not treat the room is your choice. Professionals will have fabulous results if they do. Flawless purchase process, download and install. Did I mention the quick responses with the company if you have to troubleshoot anything? Excellent! The product is a well-spent small investment and you will hear the difference. Hey, no one can help you make up your mind to purchase or not, only you and your studio are your answer to the question. All I can tell you is it made a great noticeable difference because if you treat a room and it's not exactly set up right, this product will make your room monitors work for you. Headphones monitoring or other monitors are on your screen to switch on the fly. Pleasing to the eye graphic, so many new features with the Sound ID are well done. When I start my computer/interfaces, all systems are working perfectly and not trying to stumble around getting the outputs going. I put this on my DAW as the last plugin of the chain, and switch it off during bouncing. If you are a serious mixer in the business, you always have to adjust your room monitors for true quality or you are fooling yourself or just excepting the low standards. Perhaps, maybe you have that perfect mix room by chance. Hard to believe without some tweaking...”

“I have to work in headphones from time to time and this version of SOnarworks is brilliant for keeping me in the sonic pocket. I also use it for near-field mixing when I have to mix from home. My mixes read well off broadcast and streaming as a result. Highly recommended.”

“I rarely give such glowing reviews, but quite simply put, Sonarworks dramatically changed mixes & masters. No longer is it necessary to do the obligatory "car test" & check on multiple sound systems. Since using Sonarworks my mixes translate on every listening device I play a track through. I don't second guess myself anymore. Each mix sounds amazing! Can't live without it. It's so good that I don't even want to recommend it to other colleages and friends, because I want the advantage, but I always end up telling everyone about how good it is anyway.”

“Unfortunately, I did not have a great introduction to Sonarworks because there was a mixup in the processing of my Black Friday purchase. It took 3weeks to get the whole thing sorted out. I did eventually have it resolved and received a refund. I then repurchased the software. It was a slow process, and I think it could have been avoided if the rules were explained more clearly concerning the BF special.”

“I’ve had second hand experience of this software and it’s fabulous, especially for those with slightly deeper pockets and a half decent home studio. But its reach and capabilities stretch far beyond that. Still building my studio, but once completed the first task will be Sonarworks and I know the end result will be as near to perfect as possible.”
