“It's a lot more stable on system wide on mac os than previous reference 4 version had become my 2019 Intel macbook pro i9 machine was struggling with reference 4 with high ambient air temps it's way better now with the new version. Also enjoy being able to create my own curves instead of just the tilt eq that was available in ref 4. Cheers”

“I couldn't be more pleased with their products. So far I have extensively used their Reference (now SoundID) for headphones, and I just bought their studio solution with the included mic for my new monitors. It was so easy to upgrade my current license, the shipping was very fast, and it was very convenient for me that they partnered with Klarna DE and I could split my purchase over several months. It feels like a very serious company who really wants their customers to get the best product that they can make, from the technical details to the user interface and user experience, and the customer care.”

“Shopping with Sonarworks was a real pleasure. I had an issue with the mic I received (the serial number could not be found) I contacted the Support Centre, and the friendly people sent over a new microphone the next day.”

“The Sonarworks website is very easy to navigate I was able to find the exact product I needed with ease. In my case I only needed the Sound ID reference for speakers and headphones without the calibration microphone. Everything was right there and made it extremely easy to find the exact product I needed.”

“I have a roundabout 20 square meter room and some room treatment. I know, that my acoustics are not that perfect. As well as my monitor speakers. The least I can do is hook up an EQ at the end of my audio chain. And this is the minimum that Sonarworks does. But it also includes Phase correction. By measuring numerous different spots where are you sitting, it creates a perfect-sounding sweet spot. You will immediately hear the difference. With the new version of SoundID you are also able to tweak this flat audio result to color to your preferences. But that's not the end. They have measured numerous headphones, so you are also able to hear a "flat" EQ on them too.”

“The shopping experience was quite straightforward and easy to navigate. I did run into a very minor issue at the checkout, but the support team got back to me immediately and was very keen on helping me out. My only recommendation to the team would be to continue support for older versions of the Software. I'm on version 5.2.3 (legacy version) since I'm on Mac OS 10.12 and there are some minor bugs that I experience, like having to quit and restart the systemwide app sometimes because it doesn't show up in my sound preferences, etc. Overall I'd highly recommend my audio engineering friends to invest in this software and a big thank you to everyone at Sonarworks for creating such a helpful product.”

As you mentioned in your review that you have encountered some sleep state issues with SoundID Reference, I wanted to let you know that we have recently released a new SoundID Reference beta version (v5.7.3) which includes a major rework of the macOS driver and aims to resolve various issues such as sleep/idle-time problems and the SoundID Reference virtual device disappearing from the output list. We have been working on these improvements for a while now and we hope that the product experience is greatly improved for our macOS users. “Sonarworksのおかげで、自分のスピーカー環境が以下にだめだったかがわかりました。測定マイクとソフト、同時に購入すると高価なものですが、測定マイクは今後も使用していけますので、モニタースピーカーを新しくする前に、Sonarworksの製品を試す価値はあります。ソフトのアップグレードも高くなく、ブラックフライデーなどのセールでも安くしてくれます。私にとってはなくてはならないメーカーの1つになりました。”
