“I work in London and abroad. Idéal rooms are à luxury as are monitors. Increasingly, I am using headphones for mix down even in hotel rooms. Sonarworks gives me a level of mobility that was impossible up unti recently.”

“The calibration for headphones works perfectly and I use it on every project I work on in my DAW and system-wide. The monitoring calibration works great as well, but I dont use it that often since I work in different locations and prefer the headphones most of the time. Installing was easy, purchasing as well. I had to search a little to find the right upgrade, but eventually that was easy to complete as well.”

“Good product... good support... no 32-bit support for the VST plugin in SoundID (so Reference 4 was a better choice for us since we had both 32 & 64-bit support). The better your headphones/speakers, the less benefit you will get from Reference 4/SoundID. On cheap headphones, the results are spectacular. Using SoundID with consumer software like Foobar2000 works but is complicated (install and use). You need to restart the software every time you change something (for example, mute does nothing... you restart and the sound is muted... so fine-tuning is a real pain). Sonarworks doesn't seem to care as Foobar is not their software. Although this is true, expanding the user base to consumers (where Reference/SoundID really shines) might be a good idea.”

“My experience with Sonarworks was great. First time user, and they made a good impression. I am currently studying sound engineering and so asked Customer support if my course qualifies for the academic discount. Sonarworks replied within a day to tell me YES, I did! So I ordered my reference mic and it was sent out, and I had it in 3 days' time (I live in Europe). The setup was super easy, and the live software setup guide went flawlessly. Anything to improve? Not that I can think of. You guys nailed it!”

“I would say that I’m truly grateful to Sonarworks for the opportunity to purchase the product at a discounted price due to educational license. I would find it very difficult to afford it otherwise. There’s so much information on how to use it online that it really helps to own such a revered product, that works great.”

“I love to use sonarworks by mixing. I mix in a very small room, and even with so much bass trap, and room correction, the bass reflex from my kh120 are still too huge. Sonarworks correct it very good, and I can have a clearer lowend. I had very good experience with the customer service, as I couldn’t find anymore my serial number, and they help me very easily and friendly”
