“SoundID Reference was easy to purchase online and the Support Center was prompt to answer my questions. Information was not easy to find unless you contact the Support Center and an actual person or technician responds. I had to purchase the product first before I could get the information I needed because the Sonarworks website does not provide detailed information.”

“My overall experience is good but there are a few things I would try to make my shopping easier: I writed more in my individual headphones calibration experience review As an owner of Sound ID Reference.. it would be nice if the software would save presets for both plugin and standalone, sometimes my soundcard (Audient iD14mII) fails to play sound when I go from sleep mode on my windows because Sonarworks is blocking (have to quit the app) also waiting when the standalone version will have dark mode enabled Support is nice and tries to be responsive but I think they have too many requests when they reply after few days :) I think all the info should be provided on the shopping page not somewhere in FAQ (related to my individual calibration shopping experience) good luck Sonarworks!”

“SoundID made me really trust my headphones. They improved the frequency response tremendously. Because of that you have to „learn“ your headphones again, but it was worth it! Using it everyday! PS Sometimes weird audio blips appear, quick restart and everything works fine again.”

“Good product. About the sound correction, no problem. It's improving my room's sound quality. But, since I got it I have had problems between sonarwork and my audio interface. Seems like a buffer or sample rate conflict. Maybe there is something to improve here. I'm still using it !”

“Upgrading from reference 4 headphones edition to sound id reference has let me discover new features like the possibility of curve design: This Features permits me to compensate the natural loss of frequency perception by my ears of a 45 y"ears" old man. Linear phase algorithm is really improved respect to reference 4 and added curves are really a welcomed addition. Thank for this piece of software!”

“After years of trial and error with the reflections in my studio, I pulled the trigger after an absolutely mind blowing trial period on the Sonarworks correction software and microphone. It shipped so quickly and in very sleek packaging, I got it setup and going in minutes. Going through the measurement process is incredibly easy because of the time alignment system used by Sonarworks to recognize the positioning of the mic in the room. Once inside the app, the ease of use and sophistication compliment each other and make for an experience that makes me excited to come back to all of my projects for all of my clients again and again. I would highly recommend this whole system to anyone who’s ready to take their critical listening environments to the next level.”

“I immediately got answers to my questions about the software just by browsing the website. I have no experience with the support centre at this moment. Two recommendations would be: -a "perceived volume/gain match" so when I click through the different reference presets everything sounds of a similar volume and nothing clips. -a custom EQ section where I could make my headphones (after the RefID curve) sound a bit more "consumer". If this already exists in the software, I would love to learn where it exists!”
