“great for room correction, really picked up the deficiencies in the room, only would like to see an option to unselect system wide application. maybe there was and i missed it. It does a great job but i like the option.”

Hi David, Thanks for your review, we really appreciate and we're glad to hear the calibration results are great! As for unselecting the SoundID Reference systemwide application - in case you are referring to unselecting it during the installation process, it is not possible to do so as the standalone app is necessary in order to activate the license. As SoundID Reference also comes in a plugin format, you can choose to just keep on using the DAW plugin without launching the standalone app if you're not looking for systemwide calibration, there should be no issues with this approach. I would recommend checking the standalone app's Preferences and disabling the 'Launch on startup' option in case this is not necessary for your workflow. “The software works very well, especially for a process so detailed and involved. The speaker calibration is thorough, yet easy steps to follow. I have higher-end monitors and didn't expect much improvement. However, the results are stunning - the instruments are much clearer and more balanced. I recommend this system and this company.”

“My only complaint was finding the difference in Reference and SoundID. I've had the previous versions of the software and trying to figure out the difference of what I had and the new upgrade caused a little bit of confusion. Also, because I was going up to multichannel it wasn't immediately clear whether or not I could do stereo or if I had to buy two versions of the software.”

“Getting the software and using it is super easy (and fast, instant download). The customer support is also very very good, I've had to contact them a few times because of my specific setup, and each time, within 24h I receive all the info that I needed to achieve everything. The microphone delivery arrived 5 days earlier than supposed (right before Christmas!), super well packaged, not damaged just great! When I decided to upgrade to the multichannel version, it was again, an instant download, install and away we go for the 5.1 calibration!”

“I don’t think I’ve ever received a faster delivery: from Europe to my doorstep in Canada in under 5 business days. The website is thorough, but the information is complicated for someone starting out – the support team quickly earned the 5th star in my rating by answer quickly and accurately. The product works as advertised, improving the response of both speakers and headphones. My mixes and masters improved considerably, within hours. I couldn’t be happier.”

“Well I'm kinda disappointed that there is not a time travel feature. Need to go back to 2013 to remix. That's the tendency I noticed. Mixers want to review old mixes. Just moving it on here. Getting ready for a music revival after AI screws it up.”
