“I find Sonarworks to be useful and fairly intuitive. The accuracy of the distance between speakers was spot on. My only issue is being a UAD user I thought I would have full control over the sub with the Add on. Its not the case. The mic kit along with the Apollo add on purchase gets fairly expensive. The Bass Managment function does not seem to work but overall Sonarworks is worth it for improved headphone and monitor accuracy. Be prepared to buy the top version if you want all functionality.”

“This product fell short of my expectations. I have two pairs of monitors (attached to outputs 1&2 and 3&4 of my sudio interface). I wanted to use bothe the A & B pairs at the same time and have them adapted accordingly to the room measurements but this program will do one or the other but not both at the same time. When using the plug-in while using my DAW (PreSonus Studio One-6) it froze up the program several times. While the Support team gave me great info when I asked for it, they took several days to get back to me...Will be searching for an alternative!”

“Sonwarworks frequently caused my sessions to crash as a plugin, or failed and stopped transmitting audio so often that I bascially stopped using it due the the constant hassle. In some cases, like using RX10, I simply could not listen to audio at all if it was enabled. Plus, constantly compensating for the gain reduction the plugin introduces was very frustrating. This all goes away with the Apollo X Monitor integration - now it is always active, never needs adjusting, and I never need to change between headphone and speaker settings. As a standalone app / plugin, however, it's hard to recommend with all the issues it has and the tedium of using it.”

“Thanks sonar works for integrating this with Apollo. It’s good, it works, but there are somethings needing improvement. When you measure in multichannel it you don’t get the same features as stereo. You can’t see you multichannel profile in Sound ID because there is no system wide function, and you can’t tweak as much as you can with the stereo profiles and you can only see left and right speaker measurements. Even tho, you measured in multichannel channel. Look for most people this is fine, but for those of us working in Atmos, it falls a bit short. Still, it does work. So no complaints and no complaints about having to pay. Except, you do pay a lot for multichannel and it’s not as functional as the stereo version. So clearly sonar works has a bit to do in that space. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.”

“SoundID works decently enough if you’re not worried about workflow or user experience (where you can always find bugs). I’ve been a user since the terrible rebrand decision. Purchasing the AMC add on was confusing (since getting the free trial is tied to another add on that some users won’t need). Almost all my bug reports and experiences with SoundID/Sonarworks Support have been frustrating.”

“Hello I am songwriter that has enjoyed using SoundID Reference for years and recently bought and returned VoiceAI. I also have a background in information systems and technical writing so I think I can help with feedback. Please elaborate on your shopping experience: My shopping experience including a cancellation request has been very smooth, quick and easy....no issues there. Of course, a direct cancellation link or button would have made it easier to cancel rather than having to make the request by email. However, I understand why Sonarworks may want to engage with the customer in this way during the cancellation process. Ease of finding all information you needed before and after the purchase: Finding instructions for VoiceAI install and use was not very straight forward. I had to search through your website to access what looks like a blog page to get some help (https://support.sonarworks.com/hc/en-us/articles/21567547188882-SoundID-VoiceAI-Download-Manager). A direct link or button to a quick start guide on your "How it Works?" page would have been more helpful. Your experience with our Support Centre: Again this experience was great. Your Support Centre promtly and professsionally replied to and processed my cancellation request. Is there anything you would recommend to us?: Yes...Please update SoundID's Download Manager with the feature that allow users to choose an allternate installation drive. This lack of option was quite an inconvenience as my C drive resides on a relatively small SSD drive. Hope this helps, Christopher Robertson”
