“Yes, the thing works! I got the demo and then bought on the black friday deal. The difficulty was average. Your web support section: I found Getting Started, but once in there was confronted by a confusing and highly technical list that seemed to have nothing to do with my needs. The followup emails were more relevant. I've had a few issues that I shared with tech support -- they have been on point. The last sequence of the monitor setup was very confusing. It wasn't clear that I had to move the microphone to a new position. And the microphone icon in the diagram, while accurate, was also confusing - maybe an arrow wd be better? The app window jams all the target modes to the bottom of the window - those are what I use most so it makes no sense. And I can't seem to change the display order. I will never use Dolby Atmos so why is it 2nd?”

“I've really enjoyed using Sonarworks SoundID, mostly because I can't really afford badass, high-quality monitors. So, when it mysteriously stopped working one day, I was intensely frustrated and contacted their support after having futzed around for days trying to fix the issue. I contacted support and they replied quickly. The difference in time zones made it a bit frustrating, but Karlis from their support team hung with me and kept trying to figure out the issue. Finally, success! Hats off to Sonarworks for a fine product, but hats off to Karlis and the support team for not giving up! I give the 27 thumbs up. Thanks, Sonarworks!”

“I was a little confused by the layout of the website initially - the bundle that I was hoping to buy with the headphones and mic was sold out on Black Friday, but appreciated the quick shipping! I ran into some issues with downloading and had to go into the .json log and delete the previous license (I think it was from a trial) so that was frustrating initially but once I figured it out, the process was smooth.”

“I work on headphones constantly for my job mixing podcasts and doing video projects. This has made EQing and making adjustments with confidence so much easier! I feel like I am hearing more accurately and clearly. Bad frequencies jump out at me faster and I can isolate them with a lot less trouble.”

“Sonarworks is an essential tool in my studio. With Sound ID I can actually teust that what I’m hearing in the studio will translate to the outside world. The reason I give it 4stars is because I’m listening on several different monitors, when mixing. But to quickly switch between them with their respective calibration is a bit of a hassle, to say the least. Sonarworks should come up with a monitorcontroller with built in calibration..”

“Love this for my headphones, makes my hd650s have an extended sub bass range that helps with mixing. Peace of mind is nice too, knowing I'm getting a flat response. Also, the headphone reviews that sonarworks does on their blog really helped me make a decide which headphones to buy in the first place. Excited to eventually get this for my studio monitors as well - some day!”

“I found the site very informative and educational beyond marketing the product. I didnt buy the plugin after demoing it because I had to budget it and received relatively non-invasive follow-ups from your staff. One question I do still have, is if there will ever be a profile for the Sennheiser 580HD's?”
