“I really like the new Apollo monitoring features, but I feel the web interface could be improved. It took extra time to fully understand what I was actually purchasing and whether it suited my needs. A clearer, more streamlined presentation of product details would be helpful. Additionally, I find the decision to charge an extra €49 for basic virtual monitoring for headphones unnecessary. Instead of offering it as a separate purchase, it would make more sense to include it as a standard feature or incorporate the cost into the overall product price. Making it an add-on feels like an unnecessary complication for something that should be fundamental to the experience. I hope these aspects can be reconsidered to provide a more user-friendly and transparent purchasing process.”

“I bought sound id voice ai and I am delighted with the possibilities it offers. As for the purchase process, it is simple and pleasant. One of the best spent money in 2024. The only thing Sonarworks should pay attention to is sending invoices in PDF format immediately after purchase, so that you do not have to ask for them.”

“I bought sonarworks reference 4 when I needed it the most. It has improved on the sound quality on my speakers since I unfortunately don't have the perfect room to produce music in. The process was seamless when setting up the software to my studio room. I sometimes have problems calibrating my headphones but the support system has been really good to me… when I make it a high priority they’re willing to go out of their way to fix the issue.”

“I use SoundID Reference and VoiceID and I am very satisfied. My only comment is Windows Drivers. Sometimes when using Tidal or YouTube I hear crackling and other unwanted sounds that can be irritating. Using a DAW with ASIO, everything works flawlessly. Integration with Apollo is also great. SoundID Reference is an almost ESSENTIAL product for every Mixing Studio.”

“For headphones it’s perfect as insert on my master track. For my speakers it’s very dry (flat) that it’s supposed to be. I face difficulties to match both master track headphone (on/off ) vs speakers.”

“I’ve been using Sonarworks since the beginning and have always appreciated the product. However, my experience took a downturn after the transition to SoundID. The macOS M1 update was particularly disappointing—it was a disaster for years, with frequent crashes and functionality issues. On top of that, charging loyal customers an additional €50 for the virtual add-on felt like an unfair move. It’s frustrating to see resources being spent on features like voice AI, which seem unnecessary, instead of focusing on improving the core product that your users value the most. I would strongly recommend prioritizing stability, and performance, and refining your flagship features to maintain customer trust and satisfaction.”

“Very fast VAT refund and invoicing, that is not always easy. great offer on black friday, also for the mic. I haven't found a way to ask for support regarding headphones profiles. asked in the forum but not response. also sign in doesn't always work”

“i tried to buy soundid reference with an educational discount, but they didn’t reply to me in a few days until the black friday offers were over. so, in order to get the full benefit of the discounts, i had to buy the non-edu version which i found a bit sad - for such a good plugin.”
