“Thanks to sonarworks and its integration with apollo, I can now eq my yamaha hs8 monitors.The very equing monitors concept that i have completly forgot about, which is a great option to have or at least to try out. the reference id is very easy to use and i am planning a room accoustic treatment based on the result of it. The dry and wet button for calibration eq and the integration with the apollo was a big selling point for me. i've tried it with presonus prm1 with no calibration file and the result of the two tests that i've done seem coherent when moving significant object around. I haven't compared it yet to REW results. One thing i would recommend to you is maybe to offer the possibility to make a less precise measurement without all the 40 positions mic, which last 20 minutes. Giving that i'm planning to install a lot of panels in my room, i would really like to make quick tests as i make installations to see the differences i'm making to the room response. a 5 or 10 minutes test with less mic positionning as an option maybe ? I don't know, you are the pros.. other than that i give 9/10 for now, i need to test at least one mix of mine with the sonarwork eq enabled , on multiple support.. Thank you for making this product and this collab with universal audio !”

“I purchased the Virtual Monitoring Extension to my SoundID Reference and it was pretty easy task. I have never dealt with support and once again I got the extension running with fairly little effort.”

“Sonarworks is a very useful plugin that is great for music/audio production, and even for listening, The plugin is somehow expensive, and I didn't feel so confortable with the extra amount for apollo integration, but it was a good solution I actually asked even on Sonarworks and Universal Audio, so...”

“I've been working with Sound ID for mixing and mastering for several years (back then under the name Reference) and I'm still very happy with the results. In the various rooms in which I have used the software, Sound ID has always delivered a very homogeneous and reliable result. The only thing I had difficulties with was the necessary volume of the input signal, as what came out of the loudspeakers when measuring could basically only be tolerated with hearing protection.”

“Vocal AI is cool but player is quite buggy! Even auditioning voices can be a challenge producing no sound at all. Great concept and look forward to it improving”

“It did improve the sound of my A77H a lot and fixed the bass, but things like dragging EQ points for the custom curve felt a little buggy (it sometimes stopped dragging the points during the gesture for example). Also from a UX perspective, there might be a bit too much on a single page in soundid ref. Also I almost accidentally bought the bundle containing a mic.”

“In terms of pre and post sales, everything was ok. The support centre has also been very good. I didn't get why was not possible to purchase the two things with one bill only .. I made two purchase orders. Then the subscriber's pre sale didn't include the add-on I was looking for .. the discount was available only at black Friday start .. a little bit odd!”

“My overall experience is really positive, both in terms of the product, the technical support, and the ease of use, etc. As a new user of the UAD plugin, I would really, really like there to be a curve for my secondary speakers as well; otherwise, it feels like the product is somewhat incomplete. Yes, I do occasionally miss some features, and perhaps the process of measuring the room could somehow be shortened.”

“The software is a game changer in terms of making imperfect studio spaces incredibly accurate and workable. The add-on to interface with Apollo really leveled the software up in terms of being able to monitor live instruments accurately without additional latency. I do still have some functionality issues in terms of bugginess, but they are usually quickly worked out as a temporary annoyance rather than an obstacle to my workflow.”
