“I've been working with Sound ID for mixing and mastering for several years (back then under the name Reference) and I'm still very happy with the results. In the various rooms in which I have used the software, Sound ID has always delivered a very homogeneous and reliable result. The only thing I had difficulties with was the necessary volume of the input signal, as what came out of the loudspeakers when measuring could basically only be tolerated with hearing protection.”

“For someone who is not an audio professional, it can be difficult to justify the cost of a legitimate mixing environment at home. But I still need to be able to trust what I’m hearing. The Sonarworks package has its limitations, but I have a much higher level of trust in what I’m doing now after this purchase.”

“Vocal AI is cool but player is quite buggy! Even auditioning voices can be a challenge producing no sound at all. Great concept and look forward to it improving”

“It did improve the sound of my A77H a lot and fixed the bass, but things like dragging EQ points for the custom curve felt a little buggy (it sometimes stopped dragging the points during the gesture for example). Also from a UX perspective, there might be a bit too much on a single page in soundid ref. Also I almost accidentally bought the bundle containing a mic.”

“I almost have all the essential products from Sonarworks. I have the SoundID Reference for headphone and speakers, which I use extensively with my room and my 13 headphones. The only problem I'm facing, is everytime I update SoundID Reference, it destroys eveyrthing i had before, and I will have to setup from the beginning my audio interface. Also I would love it if I deleted the references I created from the menu to be deleted totally, cause it keeps on coming back everytime I restart my computer. Other than, the system integration is super productive, and helpful for my studio. I can't live without it anymore. Specially the SoundID Microphone, I travel with it always, so I can set the room I'm working in temporarily. Thank you Sonarworks for the great work you're doing. I just hope you do something about the updates not to mess up with our setup and please make it easy for us to delete the old speaker or headphones calibration that we don't need simply by pressing the X next to it and done, we don't wanna see it again, it's not suppose to show again. thank you”

“I hope the below can make you can understand why I have shamely selected one star. I am a Sonarworks fan and I always recommend sonarworks products to friends and colleagues as I have witness and experienced the values it adds to my daily life as a home music producer I have purchased sennheiser HD650 along with the sound ID for headphones, monitors and the virtual monitoring add-ons as I use it with my headphones and I am fascinated by th equality it delivers However the recent purchase of the VoiceID was very dissapointing, specially coming from an entitiy i highly regrad as an essential part of a be it a rookie, or a professional producer (in-home or in-studio), my recent purchase was a failure and up to this date I am not abe to experience the purchased goods The Voice ID plugin has worked over my windows PC using Cubase (yet with lots of glitches) yet on my main computer which is a mac keeps crashing my daw preventing me from fully experiencing the satisfaction i get from using other Sonarworks products - it got so frustrating that the support (who are doing their best to assist me), got all confused over a live call with them as to why the product keeps failing and not launching at all. My purchase was made in November 28th, and I have yet to be contacted by the support team whenever a new version is out to test if it might work without crashing my pc I hope you can understand my frustration and why I have shamely clicked on that one star”

“Sonarworks is the best addition I've ever made to my workflow in the studio, the addition of monitor correction to Universal Audio's Apollo interfaces makes it even better. The number of mix revisions I get asked for has decreased ever since I started using it, and I can trust my room much more than I could before. The Virtual Monitoring add-on is a godsend for mixing in headphones, especially with a newborn baby in the house and odd hours working on a laptop. I can honestly say that I can mix in headphones and get great results and trust what I hear. I don't know that I could ever give up Sonarworks in my studio!!”

“At first I was skeptical then I said let me just go ahead go online and check out, and see how everything is done here. So once I went online went on and signed up sound it was very easy to use and I appreciate it how it responded back to me far as verifying my e-mail.”
