“Positive points: - SoundID Reference for Headphones is an excellent product to have a clean listening experience while creating tracks in my Ableton live. - Easy to buy. - Easy to install and set up my studio headphones. Negative points: - Many older headphones are not covered (I have 4 headphones, 3 are not recognised by SoundID Reference for Headphones, which has quickly been confirmed by the support centre) - It creates havock in my normal listening outside of my DAW: the sound setting of my laptop systematically go to SoundID and I can't redirect it to my laptop speakers, earphones or audio interface. I regularly have to manually disconnect SoundID which is absolutely not convenient. I'm even considering removing the whole SoundID software from my computer.”

“Sound ID reference has been a life saver. To minimise the effects of the room can drastically improve the overall monitoring experience. My mixes traslate well. And now I have loaded my calibration profile into my RME UCX2 interface and the entire experience has become seamless.”

“I can't say that calibrating a music studio is ever the most fun you can ever have. Let's face it, it's a chore. A necessary reliably tedious chore. That said, Sonarworks has made the job about as easy as it can be, safe in the knowledge that the end result will be excellent. I am genuinely really impressed with the transformation of the sound in my studio. I use stereo, 2.1 and atmos calibrations in my workflow and I can seamlessly switch between them... really excellent quality of life improvement.”

“Bought all my Sonarworks products during the Black Friday sale in 2024. I had been waiting for a sale to try out their headphone correction software with my Apollo X interface and the sale prices were very good and allowed me to buy the products I was wanting. The site was easy to navigate, and the purchase download and installing of the products were all very easy. I was having an issue activating the products, but it was due to my own error and customer support helped me very fast. I highly recommend this company and their products.”

“Some good improvements are done, would recommend to upgrade to SoundID. Custom Traget was changed to be costumized. Latenz was improved. Stability was enhanced!”
