I'don't actually like to give a zero but didn't have the option! Their very helpful and extremely friendly when you're buying from them but if you have a query after the purchase, their response to me was "...he doesn't want to talk to you " Take my advice before you regret it and avoid them at all costs, and at their prices there are many more reputable suppliers within easy reach!

We am trying to return an order which does not meet the product description online, but the company keeps ignoring our requests for a return arrangement and refund.

I ordered and paid for two lights but only received one. Really shouldn't have to follow up every on line order made.

A good selection of quality lighting still awaiting delivery my order which i am looking forward to receiving to complete a bathroom build.

easy booking and payment process. the next day i got an e-mail to say the item was out of stock and their supplier was expecting a delivery in about 3 weeks. The delay was holding up final electric fix so I phoned (left voice message) and sent e-mail asking to discuss alternative stock or cancellation (as per their terms and conditions) with no response. Next step: MasterCard Legal.

I placed an order for lights on the 2 June and the website currently advises on 7 Jun that the order is still being processed. I needed the item to take abroad on tuesday 9 May and there was no indication that it was out of stock. Very disappointed from a company that boasts efficient web deliveries.

I would never buy from this company again. I ordered a light from them and payment was taken immediately. The website states that lights will be despatched the next day and delivered between 2 and 3 working days after, or they will let you know immediately if the light is not in stock. I waited over a week and then rang them to find out where my light was. I was told someone would ring me back later that day but of course they did not. Eventually I was told that my light was not in stock and there was a problem with the supplier but they had not bothered to tell me. I was given a prompt refund but I am very annoyed that they did not let me know the light was not in stock.

As I've not received a light and am still waiting for a refund, I would strongly advise anyone not to use this website.

I thought I ordered some lights a week ago but had no email confirmation at all so thought I must have made a mistake during the check out process and yesterday I went online and ordered another (much nicer) light from a different company. That company actually emailed me immediately to confirm the order so I knew it had all gone through okay. I have still had no email from Solihull Lighting about my purchase, just one asking me to rate them! I now have two lights or rather I don't as they haven't arrived yet, but will do soon, which I don't need and have effectively paid for twice. I wouldn't buy from this company again!

Asked to give a review 3 days after ordering and still before the items (which were marked as will be dispatched within 24 hours) were dispatched. So what do you expect me to say? Very poor service so far... I suggest you make your dispatches a lot quicker and your requests for review a lot slower.

I bought a light that was advertised as usually being dispatched within 24hours. 9 days later and I am still waiting to hear from them or receive a response to messages sent on their online contact form several days ago or an email sent yesterday. Very disappointed, mostly in the lack of response.

Order took 5 whole days to turn up, was ordered on the Friday, supposed to be processed/despatched on the Monday, didn't happen. Finally despatched my order on the Wednesday, items finally turned up following Friday after order, a whole week!! No contact from Solihull Lighting at all, I had to contact them, to find out Wed dispatch, tried cancelling order, completely ignored cancel instruction. Awful!!!

Poor despatch time. When the item eventually arrived it was in packaging that has obviously been previously opened. and the item was covered in scratches, along with a small gouge on the surface. Will not be ordering from this company again.
