“Trainers were great but charging for p&p because it’s Northern Ireland is awful. It’s Royal Mail, it goes all over.”

“Actual product was good, however the packaging had little mites that looked like wood lice, not sure if it’s a warehouse issue or something. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of it as all packaging went straight in the bin and trousers straight in the wash”

“Can't fault the delivery - deck arrived several days early. Can't fault the packaging as the deck was heavily wrapped. What I can fault was the griptape or rather how it was packaged. It came badly rolled up in a scroll-like shape which had caused the griptape to form ridges across it's width where it had been bent out of shape. There was a ridge of about 3mm across what would be area applied to the nose of the deck. I managed to straighten this out as best I could and apply it but i'm still left with the same visible line across the width of the nose that makes my grip-job look pretty amateur. Can't say I was very impressed. Have ordered a deck from a different company before this order and they delivered with the grip as an unrolled sheet - why couldn't you do the same?”

“I got my order in only 2 days or so, and I enjoy the selection they have. Although the top of the skateboards I ordered was yellow instead of the blue I had ordered, I had also bought clear grip tape since I liked the colour on top but it arrived yellow and I didn't have any other grip tape other than clear so I will have to return it.”

“I normally receive very high quality service from Slam City, though when I ordered a couple of boards recently they were badly gripped. One in particular had 2 large creases across the grip tape and was covered in large air bubbles. I'll likely regrip it myself.”

“I love slam city usually. I spend a fair bit here. These days I spend less than I normally would do. if they had rectified my issue with some low quality bushings that I bought here they would get a better review. The guy at customer care was saying I had to make an additional purchase of some bolts if they were to help with my obviously faulty item. This is terrible customer service and really left a bad taste in my mouth. Shame”
