“Decent but actual shoes let me down as I ordered them online and had to go get a refund because the sizing of the new balance seem a bit off. Staff were pretty sweet and offered genuine advice on what to look for on my next purchase.”

“I'm not sure bout your shop had a bit of a strange experience with regards to communication and delivery date and dispatch confirmation but the goods did arrive on time and was packed nicely and I even go 2 sticker. I might give you a try again if you have something I like but if the experience is the same as the first I will maybe try find the items for somewhere else.”

“What you would expect from a website was very easy with the categories and search bar I knew what I wanted and just added to basket and paid for, feel like maybe postage should be cheaper considering it takes about 5 days but most you have to pay for now. With my projects it had good Correct description and Photos but maybe some products might not I don’t know but all round very good”

“I don’t particularly relish the idea of having to write anything other than a glowing review here, but when I ordered a skateboard for my son on Thursday, I did so due to the next day delivery aspect of the purchase. I got my order in with a couple of seconds to spare before the designated next day delivery cut off time and it was confirmed by the company. The next day delivery thing was actually one of the deciding factors for going with Slam City Skates on this occasion and so having received confirmation that my package would be arriving the next day, Friday, I took the day off work and sat at home waiting so that I could surprise my son when he got home from school. NOTHING. I was rather disappointed as all the courier notifications suggested my package would be arriving. The next morning, Saturday, I sent an email to Slam City Skates and received a polite reply apologising and confirming that even though my order was confirmed with a couple of seconds to go, it was most definitely in, but due to something to do with an early courier pick up, my son’s skateboard would now be arriving on Monday and I was refunded the next day delivery fee. Unfortunately I couldn’t take another day off work, so I missed out on seeing my son open his gift and I missed out on seeing him skate for the first time in the park. I have to be truthful and say I had a slightly sour taste in my mouth after that. I wish it could have been a slightly better experience to be honest. I feel one reason Amazon is increasingly running away with the world’s buying experiences is that they just get it right with delivery where the smaller companies seem to struggle. I kind of wanted a better experience, but other than that it’s a great skateboard.”

“Good products and good customer service. Had trouble with delivery because UPS always seem to struggle to get to us on time but staff have said in the future they can use someone else which is great. Was slightly annoying because another store had the same deck with 10% discount but didn’t offer next day delivery so I decided to pay extra for delivery and the deck and it took longer anyway. Not the shops fault and they refunded the shipping. My MOB grip tape had been fully folded in half which left an annoying crease and white line across it which would have annoyed me until it wore away so I ordered some Grizzly from somewhere else that had it in stock as I prefer grizzly anyway. The deck itself looks like the nose has been hit on something, it’s very small but not in perfect condition. It’s gonna obviously get bashed up anyway.”

“I managed, by miracle, to order a pair of extremely limited Nike Dunk Safari shoes (somehow won against the bots). I was ecstatic, a few days later I get an email saying they have cancelled my order because it has been flagged as fraudulent. I asked why multiple times and the only response I got was “It has been flagged as fraudulent”. Now if I want a pair I will have to pay upwards of £300 to secure a pair of these from the resell market. (Edit) I have now been given more info on my situation and why my order was cancelled.”
