“Very helpful when you get in touch. I have just installed our sky pod blind and it’s all working well. It takes a good half a day to install hope we get a few years out of it.”

Hi Eileen you certainly will get many use out of your roof lantern blind our customers tell us they can't live without them.

“All parcels were received on time and as expected. I was surprised to note that the only parts apparently made in the UK were some cut and (poorly) painted aluminium angle pieces. The actual blinds appeared to be manufactured in Dubai. I have no real problem with this, the one we have fitted works ok, although the remote control programming is a bit of a challenge and entirely unnecessary in our case. we just want a simple open and close control. They are not only self install, but also self assemble. not a problem really except that I feel for what you get, the pricing is pushing it somewhat. They should also make it clear that they are not the manufacturers, as they seem to suggest, but just a distributor.”

Hi Michael thanks so much for your feedback. I am so sorry that you thought the quality of the angles was not up to standard I am so sorry about this. This is the first we have heard of this and we could have sent you new angles if we would have known. We do assemble and test the blinds in the factory but it is impossible to send the blinds fully assembled in transit. The blinds are made to measure but flat pack because of transit. We do not manufacture the blinds in house but work with factories all over the UK and abroad exclusively to offer you our specified product for your roof windows at a value for money price cutting out the expense of a blind fitter. With regards to the remote control the blinds are programmed and limits are set in the factory but sometimes things can change during transit and that is why we are here to help you over the phone.

“I have 3 Velux skylights to which I needed blinds fitting. The price of Velux was about 3 times the amount I paid for these. I was a bit skeptical when I ordered these as they were so cost-effective, and being a 3rd party thought they might not fit as well as the original Velux. However, I was presently surprised. The quality was first-rate and fitted straight into place with no issues. The website made it very easy to choose the right ones and had additional info on fitting to make it all a seamless and pleasant shopping experience. Well done Skylight Blinds. “Good price, well-made product, and delivered within a short timescale from the UK. This compares to a competitor I first ordered with whose blinds are made in EU. My order with them got stuck in French then UK customs resulting in a full refund after 2 weeks of being stuck. I then ordered from Skylight, and they made and delivered my blind all within a week.”

“Save yourself time and hassle and order from somewhere else. The samples took almost 3 weeks to be delivered. We then ordered the blind, but it took 10 working days to be delivered. After waiting 10 working days, they delivered the wrong blind! We were told the replacement blind would be dispatched in 3-5 working days. It is now the 6th working day and no dispatch email. From ordering the sample to receiving the correct blind, it will be over 7 weeks!!”

“We received our LanternLITE Honeycomb Open-view Blind ordered from Skylight blinds in good order, really well packaged & transported from Dubai. Assembly was fine, following the videos supplied by Skylight. It was tough to get the joints together, but this is a good thing as you don't want it loose! We had a long blind (over 2.2m) so the side runners have a join, therefore it can be a little snaggy over the join (hence 4 stars). WARNING: you must follow the company instructions and measure the RECESS opening, I didn't (I measured where we wanted to place it in the void) and therefore it was a very tight fit (my mistake). After some recess trimming, the blind has fitted well, looks & operates very well (we also have the Somfy Tahoma Switch which links to Amazon Alexa through the app). Note: It did require 3 persons to finally fit, 2 to hold & 1 to screw fix into position. The assistance from Naomi (Skylight POC UK based) was exceptional, helping us through all our queries & my mis-measurement frustrations. I would definitely recommend Skylight blinds. Note: we had other Somfy controlled devices in the house which we have now all connected to Tahoma Switch & Alexa RESULT!”

“Website is very misleading, poor customer service. The blind slide rails fall 3mm short and there is daylight coming in. Post office confirmed returns address is not registered on their system, therefore how do I know £9 paid will ensure it’s signed for by Bloc Blinds ?”

Hi Clare so sorry about your experience. We do mention on every page of the website that sells blinds for Keylite windows that our blinds are not compatible with windows with T or P prefix.
