I’ve had the v2, my wife uses the v3 and I’ve just had delivered the x5. The x5 was supposedly “ex display” and cost me around £100 less than a “new” one. This thing has never been out the box and is split new. It’s still got the film on the watch face! Shotscope are one of the best companies in terms of looking after their customers / buyers I’ve ever dealt with. When I had the v2 the little clip came loose - I used it a lot and was only looking for a replacement which I was happy to pay for - they sent me 2 for free! I use a Garmin s62 range finder which is an excellent bit of kit but my mate uses the latest Garmin watch (is it s70?) and hates it because it’s all bells and whistles, not accurate and comes with a subscription fee. In summary, buy a Shotscope - it feels like a company that cares about you getting better as well as making money. A little like titleist compared to taylormade - titleist wants you to get better, taylormade wants to sell you clubs.

Hello, I sent 3 or 4 emails in the last 2 weeks to return a G5 because I'm very disappointed with the image quality and 1 haven't had any answer. Why?

Shot scope are by far the most customer oriented golf equipment manufacturer - period. They produce excellent innovative products at reasonable prices ( versus the so called market leaders like Garmen) . Their after care service is second to none in the golf business . I’m not an employee just a regular customer . Well done Shot Scope .

Very poor quality. Fragile and the plastic will snap!! Had to buy replacements due to being flimsy and poor build quality!! Had 2 break already!!

I tried using Connex tags on 4 different rounds, but found them unusable. Having to leave your phone unlocked is problematic, because in my pocket the phone begins opening random apps as it detects contact with the liner of my pockets. I forgot to tag a few shots, and couldn't get the manual function to work. The gps was showing my ball in very odd locations, nowhere near the course a few times. Also, my putter doesn't accept the tag, so for the first 3 rounds I tried doing it manually, but the app was very non-responsive to placing the putt location. On round 4 I kept the putter tag in my pocket and that worked for a while, until the app crashed. The app crashed on me mid-round each time I played, and when I restarted it it was stuck in a loop on hole 1, and I couldn't advance to the hole I was on. I eventually had to clear the cache when i got home and delete the round in progress. I really wanted this to work, but I returned them because it was frustrating and time consuming on the course.

gives an amazing amount of real info. Can't help but improve our scoring. Also while in Cyprus was able to get yardages where 2 garmin watches couldn't. If it could carry my clubs as well it would be perfect!
