“I havent got some parts and i have purchased nearly 150 pound from b&m. Shed is utter flop, and completely loss of money. Company is vey clever to cheat. Dont buy this, it is completely cheating... please rethink”

“We ordered a Rowlinson Trentvale shed which is advertised as being a dimension of 5ft x 3ft. As we discovered afterwards it is much smaller than that so we cannot fit a lot into it. The metal material it is made of is extremely flimsy, this is why it needs two people to construct it as the screw holes are hard to line up, some of the screws are also poorly constructed. My husband, who is experienced at DIY, struggled to put this up within 2 days, even though the leaflet says 2-3hrs. I would never again buy a shed at this price as it is poorly made and way too small. Very disappointed.”

“Simply HORROR The summer house is leaking roof from the first rain, roof is cracked all over when workman walk on it fitting in whole structure Is bent, doors are poorly fitted see pictures avoid”

“Sheds were the best bit - through ordering to receiving summerhouse. It was a few weeks before my builders put it up and moaned about it constantly on how pieces didn’t fit together properly and the splits in the panels plus the doors don’t meet together! I should have stopped them building it and complained to the company then but I let them finish it then complained which was silly of me - should have done it sooner! Now it’s up we have to live with the issues. So if you have any niggles or problems please be sure to contact them straight away!”

“Delivered on a different date (10 days early) than expected came home to find the shed panels outside. No email to confirm that the order had been dispatched. The product itself i would describe as poorly finished. Some warping of panels and individual timber components, some screws that were intended to join two pieces of wood together did not actually penetrate the second piece of wood. The floor resembled two pieces of wooden pallet. Side panels completely different shade of colour. None of the above was noticed until the shed was assembled ten days after delivery. Overall a product of poor quality obviously manufactured to maximise profit.”

“Shed turned up supposed to be 5 feet x 10 feet. I can't tell at this point as it arrives in loads and loads of small panels. The instructions I was sent are for a 5 feet x 7 feet shed? So tried calling for help at 4:50 only to keep getting the phone line hung up.. not great customer service”

“My summer house purchased in May this year has quality problems and I am extremely disappointed, but the worst thing about the saga is that these people do not respond to customer complaints. I have contacted them multiple times and sent photographs of the problem but all I have received are automatic acknowledgements. They don't seem to see any need for good customer service. My recommendation would be : AVOID”

“Just about everything. 8x6' pent shed bought with recommended 8x6' Portabase which is actually wrong according to Mercia who make the shed and base!!! We built the base before realizing the fault (the 2 floorboards are different to those in the instructions!! and run the wrong way so they collapse down in between the base joists. Now being told I have to dismantle the base and carry it to my front garden. AND no refund for a delay of a month. Decided to change the floor myself- I can't cope with anymore stress. or delays. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. See the number of 1 star ratings on trustpilot this year - any many, like me, would give no stars, but of course, you cannot award no stars- Why not??”

“Had ordered to be delivered to new address however due to finance side of order didn't match so they could not deliver to new address and could not guarantee delivery to old address before we moved. Cancelled it.”

“I ordered a shed from this company and there was several problems it has been very shoddily put together, with the pieces of wood bent I’ve had to ask for pieces to be replaced and buy items such as pieces of wood so the windows would actually fit , if I hadn’t paid someone to put it together I would have asked for a refund”
