“Loved the chocolate nutty bar, but after drinking the shake I had a very upset stomache and had to go to the toilet about 5 times. Have still got the soup to eat. Did not find the shake very filling.”

“I have asked various times is this diet ok for type 1 diabetes but no response this is saying to me no its not, so please reply as I have brought the shake's and would like some feed back please”

“The shakes are fine and some of the bars are OK, albeit they are very sweet. The porridge is absolutely foul and the savoury sachets are inedible - I will have to eat some of it because I am determined to lose weight but most of it is quite horrible!”

“I have done STW before and the shakes and weight loss were amazing. Unfortunately this time round I can't say the same. The shakes are definitely a lot sweeter than before. I drink 3-4 litres of water a day and do the total meal replacement plan but this time round the weight doesn't seem to be coming of like before. I've been doing STW for 2 weeks and have only lost 9lbs. Normally I'd say this weight loss is fantastic but on previous STW journeys I've lost 11/12lbs in just the first week. All of this makes me wonder if something has changed in the formula...it definitely doesn't test like it did a couple of years ago (far sweeter). Maybe STW has changed it's formula so the the customers need to be on it for longer...of course this will be denied...like said though, I've done it before with far better results and I've not changed how I mix or take the shakes. I've got 4 weeks worth of shakes left but the weight loss is really making me wonder if it's worth it.”

Thanks for your review Caleidh. We were rather upset to read your comments regarding our integrity as a company. We do not lie to our customers and haven't and wouldn't dream of changing the formula as you seem to infer "to keep the customers on the diet for longer" I can assure you that the ingredients are exactly the same as previously, the only changes have been to upgrade our packaging. Regarding your weight loss, as you have already mentioned 9LB in 2 weeks is a good loss and shouldn't be compared to previous losses. There are lots of reasons why weight loss one year will be different the next year such as personal metabolism changes, levels of activity, starting weight, t.o.m. for ladies etc so please don't be despondent, if you can keep to the plan we are sure that you will continue to achieve excellent results.

“Usual order of shakes but sadly not only the packaging has changed but the contents much sweeter tasting and I find them more sickly. Always have preferred the coffee flavour as usually less sweet tasting but now finding them sickly sweet...Not sure if I will use again.”

Thanks for your review. I would just like to assure you that nothing at all has changed regarding the contents. The formulas remain the same as always, we have just updated our packaging to conform to the latest compliance requirements. You can find however that after a while of following the diet plan your taste buds can change, this is very common when following a VLCD diet.

“Overall I’m pretty happy with STW. I have tried various meal replacements and also been a consultant for a leading brand in the UK. So far I love choc shake and the pumpkin bar. The maple bar tastes nothing like maple, all I can taste is apples (and it does contain apple purée so that makes sense) not the best taste but its ok. The chocolate porridge is vile... I have tried other brands and they’re ok. This is lowest down in my list.. once you’ve heated it, the consistency is just horrible. I have a few more products to try. The shakes aren’t lumpy, if mixed correctly and have a nice consistency. The bars are a bit gritty but I’m in ketosis with them and that’s all that really matters to me. Low carb, high protein, works fine.”

Thanks for your review. Could you please check that you are mixing with the correct amount of water as your comment is quite unusual you may be adding too much liquid.
