“It's early days but I am enjoying the ease of it all. The people at Shake the weight have been really helpful sorting out my orders for me when i had a few problems ordering and confirming on my phone. .”

“Unfortunately not for me! I give two star for the fact that it tasted good! I went for Banana and it tasted great I used Red Milk for lower fat in take and it was like a Banana milkshake LOVELY! However it caused me to have a really upset stomach and bad bowel movements… So I now have looked into tablet forms rather than the shakes.”

A low calorie diet is a potentially big change in your diet and therefore you may experience some side effects, such as: Headaches (take standard headache medication until they subside), Nausea, Lethargy, Menstrual irregularities, sweet smelling breath, constipation (try a laxative or fibre supplement).Side effects should ease after a short time. “I am a week in and loving it so far. The meals are tasty, filling and quick to prepare. I haven’t been hungry and have lost more weight than I anticipated in my first week.”

“Losing weight slowly, the issue I have, apart from the expensive pricing, is that the 'food' is utterly tasteless....I am ONLY using your products to try and lose weight, the actual consumer experience is without feeling.”

“The Shakes and the meal.bars are great I'm not over enamoured with the meals. Feel less bloated sugar is coming down but weight loss has been slow.”

“Please bear in mind I'm only 5 days in to the 800 calorie a day programme! Delivery was fast with the items packaged well. All items arrived in good order. So far I've found the shakes, porridge, bars and savoury meals very palatable. I'd even go so far as to say I'm enjoying the taste. They aren't too salty or sweet. The main meal pouches are very tasty. Very pleased so far.”

“The protein crisps/zippers and breadsticks are great as always. Love the meals - I've finally think I've found the ones I enjoy the most - they last ages, very filling and are so quick and easy to warm up. I tend to add some extra veg to bulk it out a bit - but that's my preference.”

“I have found the shakes to be absolutely brilliant, mainly because you can choose which milk to make them with. Over the past 20 years I tried two other brands, but both had very restricted dairy-free options (ie only choc or choc orange). STW shakes generally have no dairy element and so I make them up with high protein soya milk which is perfect for my needs. The price is very competitive - I guess because you are not obliged to see a counsellor who needs to be paid - and this makes it more accessible to more people. I really appreciated the freedom not to be involved with a dieting counsellor too. I used these shakes as the pre-bariatric surgery, liver-shrinkage diet, in preparation for keyhole surgery. Neither the very restricted “real” food diet, nor the dairy-based Slimfast diet prescribed by the bariatric dieticians were feasible for me, so I was delighted that STW worked so well in shrinking my liver. I continued after surgery as the shakes are more nutritionally complete than home made soup and now, four months on, I still have a shake for breakfast as it is so much easier, quicker and more nutritious than most “normal” breakfast options. I’m really thrilled to have found this product and recommend you give it a go too.”
