Very helpful and pleasant whenever I 'phoned or visited. Tomasz, who dealt with my order was friendly and efficient. He was also patient when I asked him to repeat any information that I hadn't understood first time round. I had never bought a new car before, not to mention an electric car so I needed slow and steady as far as explanation of the process was concerned! I feel that I can 'phone up and ask if I have any questions and so far am delighted with my purchase.

I recently bought a new car from SG Petch. The whole process was very simple and my new car arrived quickly. The finance offers were good and we were able to agree a deal easily. I would recommend S G Petch and definitely a Mazda car.

I found Roger very easy to deal with, he was very professional, my overall experience was very good my only gripe was that my car was ordered with a six-month waiting list in place I received a call 4 months earlier, that was anticipated to say my car was in the country meaning my new car had to be mothballed for 4 months whilst I carried out work in my garage.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The delays with the provision of the Motability car were beyond SG Petch's control. On the day of the pick up, the car did not have the expected £20 of fuel added so we had to go back to ask for assistance. We were driven by a staff member to BP to get the fuel. When contacting SG Petch for an update, I had to speak to many members of staff. Sometimes the lack of awareness in my case, made me less confident than usual in the Motability process.

I ordered my Kia Sportage in March 2022, completing the Order Form in which the part-exchange value of my vehicle was recorded. The salesman I was dealing with left the company. Any subsequent contact regarding possible delivery of the vehicle was instigated by myself, with no updates coming from Petch. I was then informed (December) that the vehicle was on its way, given an expected arrival date in the UK and possible collection date, along with name of the salesperson who would be completing the sale. A phone call was received saying the vehicle was now with Petch, but that the value of the vehicle I was putting in in part-exchange had dropped (significantly) and the balance to complete the sale/purchase was now greater than when the order was placed. At no time was it pointed out to me that the value of my vehicle would be reviewed due to the time-lapse. Fortunately I was in the position to be able to meet the increase cost to change but am disappointed that this was not pointed out to me at the time the order was placed, and there is nothing in the order form that explains this although the form does state what happens should the cost of the car being purchased increase. While I am delighted with my new car, the process has been poor leaving me a touch disappointed. I have raised these issues with Petch but have been left with unanswered questions at the time of writing this review. I have given a four-star rating but this could easily have been three.

I bought a new Mazda CX-5 Sport from S G Petch. The process was very straightforward and I am happy with the car. I did not give a 5 star review because there were a few errors with the paperwork which had to be corrected and I have had to send the V5 document back as my name was incorrect. Although a minor error, this could be important if there were any legal problems. Daniel Wilkinson, the Salesman I dealt with, was very helpful.

The overall view of SG Petch is positive, with Ryan our salesman being fantastic in his information and assistance. After collecting the car on a dark evening and looking closer in the daylight it was slightly disappointing that the same attention to detail had not been given by the individuals that carried out a pre delivery inspection.

Only thing that I wasn’t very happy with was the valeting of car it hadn’t been done very well, there was a fine dust all over the inside of the car and sticky labels all over these were because it was new but I would have thought they would have been removed when it was valeted.

I bought an Ioniq5 from Darlington branch, very pleased with the car and all its functions. Really good car would recommend. However, I have felt a little "cheated" - their website shows 3 years free servicing on new Hyundais - there is a * alongside - but who really looks at this when the BIG WORDS show 3 free - still cannot see where it says NO. But got told by the branch NO, so bigger fool me. Please everybody check everything, don't know why they feel they have to do things like that and lose repeat custom! Delivery and price good, inside of windscreen could have done with a clean but overall quite good. So i just took off one * due to the "cheating" although it was quite legal! BTW have changed Email address from that when i bought car.

Hi Ken, thank you for the feedback and your continued custom, it's really appreciated. With regards to the Hyundai Free Servicing promotion, this is a valid offer. Unfortunately, Hyundai launched the campaign on the 1st July 2022 until the end of September 2022. As you collected your new car in June, the offer wasn't available at that time. Manufacturers run promotions periodically, but unfortunately, we have no prior knowledge of this and is out of our control. The terms are attached to every offer on the website so customers should be aware of them. Sadly it's not something SG Petch can backdate for you as Hyundai set up the service plans based on the date on the registration of the vehicle. We do hope this explains things for you and hope it hasn't spoiled your overall experience of what is a fantastic car.

A most excellent car garage, the team are most helpful either over the phone or in person nothing seems to be to much trouble, l feel that they want to help if you have a problem would highly recommend if anyone was thinking of getting a Kia car

From the moment I contacted SG Petch I felt like a welcome customer. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I also feel that the priority was on finding a car that was right for me, rather than a quick sale or most expensive sale. I am thrilled with my car.

The service in the past has always been excellent this time not so much orded a new car in January with a delivery date of May frist contract was a tear message end of April saying delivery was now August this should have been a phone call can understand why a text message put it should have been a phone call. Didn't hear anything until middle of July to say car was in and it is already booked in for a repair to wheel and tyre

The purchasing experience was very good, my new Kia Sportage was in stock and delivered after 2 weeks. What I am extremely unhappy about is is part exchange price I was given for my old car. The salesman convinced me that my car value had reduced somewhat in the last week so he couldn’t increase the offer. I very naively accepted this. You can imagine how I felt when my old car appeared on the forecourt £3450 more than I had been paid. I know we all have to make a living but come on !! The car was under warranty and been serviced so nothing was needed to be done. I urge anyone trading a car into S.G Petch don’t sell to them, sell independently

The whole process from a test drive through to buying the car and arranging a service plan have been straightforward. All dealings with SG Petch have been easy, with a friendly and helpful voice either in person at the showroom or at the end of the phone.
