Managed to get us a new car very quickly after issues with another car. As soon as we had taken the car from them they didn't seem to be bothered afterwards! We contacted them multiple times and left messages for someone to call us back - nothing! We had been misinformed by the sales person about some of the aspects of the purchase which was disappointing after they had been so helpful before the collection.

I have had a massive drama over taking delivery of my new Peugeot 3008 which Peugeot UK (Stellantis) and SG Petch are well aware of and to be fair to SG Petch, as a Dealership your staff did go the extra mile for me BUT fell down on the PDI check prior to my car being handed to me. I was told the Ad Blue tank was full, it wasn't and required 6 litres of Ad Blue when I got the car home. My car has needed a "computer update" since I received it but the work won't be able to be carried out at the Dealership until the 19th of August 2024? So much for Motability Customers getting a priority Service. So yes, I'm a little disappointed & fed up with Peugeot right now having waited for a car that was ordered on 1st February 2024 and the Dealership knowing the hassle that I've endured since ordering the original car.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for acknowledging the efforts of our staff. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've faced with the Ad Blue and the delay for the computer update. This isn't the experience we aim to provide, especially for our Motability customers. We appreciate your patience and will do our best to address these concerns with Peugeot to improve the service moving forward.

When I switched from a manual Arona to an automatic, it was not highlighted that this would be a dual transmission. This was also not explained to me on car handover. I did ask what the + and - symbols were for but the sales assistant did not know. I made a mental note to read up on this when I got home. I realise now I should have asked for someone who did know but hindsight is a wonderful thing. On driving home the car did not feel right and a message came on the dash to say I should change to D mode for more economical driving. As I did not know about the different driving modes this caused a bit of a distraction which could have made me unsafe. Anyone selling a car or handing over a car should have full driver knowledge to enable an informed decision at point of purchase and a safe handover on collection

Dear Marion,Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback about your recent experience at SG Petch. We truly appreciate customers like you who help us improve our services. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you faced when switching from a manual Arona to an automatic. We understand that the dual transmission was not properly highlighted to you during the purchase process, and we failed to explain it during the car handover. We completely understand your concern regarding the different driving modes and how it caused a distraction on your drive home. Once again, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and sorry for inconvenience caused.

Very disappointed with the service having bought numerous Mazdas over the years. To be forced to pick up my new car at an inconvenient time for me when I clearly stated when was suitable . Then to be told no insurance available when I didn’t have time to arrange my own , even though my husband who picked up his car 2 weeks earlier was offered 7 days insurance. Having forced the issue 24 hours given which was no good as no insurance company could find the car model. Had spent a whole afternoon trying to sort this when I should have been at work due to being forced to pick up the car at a time suitable for the garage. Shocking

I was so upset as I’ve seen on mobility Facebook page car dealerships revealing the new cars and as this is my first car I was so excited and looking forward to this experience like all the others have got my age and I cried all the way home as the excitement was for nothing no explaining or setting my phone up nothing to car play I felt it was a bad experience and I wasn’t shown my car to look around to do any checks he wanted the PIN number in first and that’s not right as my mom checks her car before the PIN number goes in and it wasn’t in the showroom to drive out like I’ve seen happen

I had to wait a year for my new Ibiza due to incorrect ordering . I have now had the car just 2 weeks and the infotainment system and screen has shut down altogether . It is not possible to even start it up. I've been told today it will be 5 weeks before it can be booked for diagnostics let alone repair. I am not happy! Very disappointed with the whole process of the purchase, after using Petch's several times before.

My son bought his first car from SG Petch Richmond recently, timescales advised throughout the purchase were not met. We were told there would be a 4 day turn around but it was 7, I mentioned mould on the sun visor and asked if the car would be valeted before handover, advised yes, yet the mould was still there upon handover. Collected the car on Friday and promised a call on Monday about gap insurance, this took approx a week before call was received, during the call he advised the woman that his locking wheel nut was missing, she was looking into it, yet he heard nothing back and has had to call again today, now he has to wait until Monday. Timescales should not be advised if they will not be met and after sales is clearly very poor which is a shame.

Had Mazda cx30 1 st service done by SG Petch. I realised they had used the wrong oil so I rang them up to tell them they said the oil they used was correct. Having read the specification of the oil required I rang Mazda who confirmed I was correct and they sent me an email quoting the correct grade was different to the one used by SG Petch. I sent the email to SG Petch who checked it out then said they would change my oil and filter. After 5 or 6 phone calls not one apology Makes me wonder how many cars are running around with the wrong oil.

Poor at keeping you updated once car is ordered. No after care whatsoever. Was promised a phone call to see how car is and not heard anything. There’s a problem with the radio that I’ll now have to chase up.

I have bought 3 cars in total from SG Petch and the 3rd one will be the last. I was contacted by the Middlesbrough Branch to see if I would like to upgrade my car as there was equity in it. I didn't really need to so said I would think about it. A few days later I was called again and said I would if it was a Hybrid and it was possible, so we agreed the sale of my car and a purchase of a new 2022 plate. I love the car, but when I got home I realised i didn't have any car matts. very trivial I know, but with 4 kids, it's important as I want to keep the car looked after. I was told I couldn't have any!!! I would have to buy them! I even asked for the ones from the car I had sold them back. It's like pulling teeth. I have been offered some at cost. A £35k Car and I have to buy the matts. So, I won't be buying a car from SG Petch again. Which is a shame as I must have referred half a dozen customers to them also.

Sold a warranty we didn't want, which they then wouldn't refund. No service history provided despite the vehicle being advertised with a service history. Log book had been lost by a previous owner but we were only informed of this when we chased the service history. No user manual provided either. Car excellent value for money but customer service poor.

Happy with the deal and the salesman not so happy after collection of the car. Few small scratches which I've mostly managed to polish out myself, 1 damaged alloy wheel ( didn't spot it on collection) asked for software and firmware to be updated to latest version, wasn't. I know I should of done a better inspection on collection of my car but it's less than a year old with less than 5k on the clock so I expected better. I've rang the dealer to try and sort these issues and was told they would ring me back that was 2wks ago now. Maybe they'll read this review return my call and I can change my review to a more positive one if not I won't be visiting SG Petch when it's time to change the car.
