“Ordered some materials needed for a job ASAP. Website advised could be a delay with delivery. One phone call later and a very helpful gentleman in the office arranged for the delivery to sent so I got it next day. Very good service would recommend”

“I'm normally very impressed with Scaffolding Direct, but this time things didn't go well. I ordered 150 13' scaff boards and I asked for them to be as dry as possible. I was told that they couldn't promise that they would be completely dry, which is fair enough, but when they arrived, every single board was so wet it was like they had been stored in a swimming pool. We've had to put our project on hold for 2 weeks as they dry out now.”

Hi Stephen, Thank you for your review. There are a number of reasons why we can’t guarantee how dry the scaffold boards will be, particularly during this time of year. They are delivered to us direct from the mill, who store all of their timber outdoors. Once it has been delivered to us, we usually try and keep up to 100 boards of each size inside our warehouse, and any overspill is kept outside in our yard. The demand we have for timber on any given week will determine how long that timber is actually stored inside. Once the boards have been despatched with our couriers, there is no guarantee where they will store the goods at their depots and sortation hubs. I apologise that the goods were not delivered to your expectations, however you were advised of all of this at the time of order.
