“I thought i'd ordered and it hadn't gone through. I got an email from Scaffolding direct asking me if I needed any help. This was great as I hadn't even noticed the order hadn't been confirmed. I called them back and they were really helpful and my delivery came within a few days.”

“I was sent the in correct sized fence panels and was missing bolts although on my invoice and box states the correct product. On the same day I received I sent an email regarding this and also attempted to call with no response. I have sent a further email requesting collection and refund and have still not heard back from the company after 5 days. ***Update *** the company have now provided a full refund”

“I am a Radio Ham, holding a full Class "A" licence, G4JZV since the late 70s. In that time I have supported my 3 wire HF Antennas with a series of swaged 5ft aluminium poles to a height of 35ft at the end of a long garden Over the last years they have been brought down and damaged by various reasons. The last time this happened just before Christmas, I used the last spare swaged pole that I had to repair it. I have therefore invested in 3 times 6m aluminium poles to replace it next time something or someone breaks it. Two poles will be joined together by a steel centre point and the third pole will be initially used as a gin pole to help raise it. Following the raising of the main mast the third poles will have various VHF / UHF antennas and a rotator attached to my radio shack (shed). Since I have been a wheelchair user for the last 25 years I rely on friends from the Huntingdon Amateur Radio Society (bless them) to assist and help me raise my antenna poles. They are wonderful and caring friendly people and we meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday in the month at the Buckden Village Hall, in Cambridgeshire PE19 5UY. You don't need to book, just come and visit. We discuss various Radio Topics plus just social (friendly) interaction, and at other times we can be heard through our 70cms repeater GB3 OV. Come join us. You don't need a licence, but we will help you get one if you have any interest in radio and electronics. I'm often asked what is the need for HAM radio in the days of reliable mobile phones. Well, mobile phones, infrastructure communications, are simply not reliable. What happens in disaster situations? All those communications suddenly disappear! It's then the Hams who then take over and give cover and support until the infrastructure is rebuilt. This can take hours, days or months. Meanwhile we will have a supportive communications structure working immediately! We even have HAM two way satellites, and some operators can bounce signals off the Moon! My humble setup using aluminium scaffold poles may not be so advanced but I've still spoken to people around the whole world without the aid of mobile phones (though I use those too in normal life), and with the add of the internet and radio integration the world is our oyster! “I have yet to receive notification that my order is ready for collection despite ordering and paying well over a week ago, and despite chasing up by telephone. I was told there must have been an admin hitch in the warehouse and that I would receive a call back within a matter of minutes. Some days later I am still waiting. I cannot say anything about the product yet, but the customer service stinks.”

Hi Thyge, Thank you for your review. First of all, please let me apologise for the lack of communication in the days following your order. I am aware that you have now spoken to my colleague Chris to arrange the collection this week. I believe what may have happened is that we have sent the order into the warehouse without realising that it was marked for collection. Therefore the guys in our warehouse packed the order under the impression that we had already contacted you. This kind of breakdown of communication is a very rare occasion, so I hope this does not prevent us from doing any business in the future.
