“I was very pleased with the price(s). I'd hoped delivery might be slightly faster, but my order arrived in the promised time-frame so I've no grounds for complaint. I ordered 6' scaffold boards but 8' ones were delivered. I emailed to query this but never received a response. In the end I think it worked out to my benefit, but I would rather have received a reply! My order arrived in two shipments, althought the paperwork didn't mention this. I therefore queried by email (the same one as above) after the first shipment arrived, but didn't get an answer to that. In hindsight I think it was the courier splitting the shipment up, not Scaffolding Direct, but either way there's definitely room for improvement on the communication front! These matters aside, the fundamental service was good and I am likely to use Scaffolding Direct again if I need more scaffolding products.”

We have experienced some impacts on the company during these unusual times; however your comments about the emails are taken on board. You are quite correct about the split delivery, this was down to the courier who can at times split consignments, which are rectified very quickly as a rule. “Great product easy to assemble looks good quality, it may benefit from support steaks in the 4 corners, but to be honest I’ve built mine And filled it and it seems quite sturdy.”

“Delivered quickly and good price. The brand of limpet sold by Scaffolding Direct has a longer bolt than other suppliers which means it can be used with thicker timber. However, what the website description doesn't state is that the bolt threads are peened, preventing the bolt being removed from the clip withoput some careful thread reforming with a file. Don't think this is a manufacturing fault but not sure why it is done but it would have been helpful to include that info in the product description.”

“Overall happy with the raised bed kits. We had to wait longer than expected - I don't think the website reflected the delay when we ordered. Good quality although one board is damaged on one side, it is useable & we can hide this in the construction. Chipboard screws were supplied rather than those designed for outdoor use. We've used them anyway. The boards are good quality and no warping at all which is great. We are only at construction stage but so far so good. Delivery was excellent. Overall would definitely recommend. Thank you.”
