“Good. Our accreditor Robin McCloy was very helpful in taking us through the final steps of accreditation and also informed me that I could download my certificate directly from the website which was really handy as I didn't know that and we could send it out to our clients straight away. The process was a lot less daunting than expected : )”

“I feel that Alcumus are looking for an easy ride - i.e. they want documents in specific format/layout, unfortunately we operate our business to sit our customers requirements (who will also be Alcumus Customers, thus our documents and thus proof are written and laid ou in a specific way, I found the whole process consumed too much of my time given that we as an organisation successfully pass our ISO audits (9001 / 14001 / 45001) every year, surely this should be evidence enough?”

Clients choose to work with us because we enable them to have greater visibility of the health and safety compliance of their supply chain. Our system ensures that all contractors they work with have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. To make the process easier next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly. “I was not notified of me renewal until the 15th October for me 6/11 expiry. Therefore, I was forced to pay the fast tract fee. I can not help this is a scam to get people to take up this service. I have requested a refund, I have been promised a refund but one is yet to arrive. My certificate last year also was incorrect. Stating it expired on 29 October instead of the 6 November. Causing us issues with some of our contractors.”

We release notifications of accreditation expiry 60 and 30 days prior to the expiry date, and are sorry to hear that you did not receive these. We are always looking to improve the service that we provide and have introduced packages that enable contractors requiring accreditation quickly to use an express service that is guaranteed to be completed faster than our standard audit time of 4 weeks. If you require any guidance on the documentation required then our team of technical experts are on hand and are always happy to help. Our contractor portal is available year-round, so to speed up this process going forward we recommend uploading your up to date documents throughout the year so that when your questionnaire is released 30 days prior to expiry, you are ready to submit.
