“Generally very positive, but i do find that once submitted, the questionnaires do take a long time to be assessed.”

Thank you for leaving us a review and congratulations on your accreditation! Our standard queue for our audit team to review a completed questionnaire can be up to four weeks, however we do have a range of support options available to speed this up if required. To make the process quicker next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents at the earliest opportunity, to ensure this is reviewed well in advance of your accreditation review deadline. “Contacted by advisor once application submitted and given advice before the application was audited advice on alterations to the industry references we had made and advised to amend and provide further information to cover all industries detailed on the application. This saved valuable time and speed the successful audit process.”

“Safe contractor should be simple as we are accredited by a SIPS accredited body but we still seem to have to provide a significant volume of information each year. The continued requirement for site specific task assessments written within the preceding year is sometimes an issue as we often work to a Site risk assessment with generic task assessments overlaid.”

If you are accredited by another SSIP body then we are able to offer you a reduced question set through the SSIP Deem to Satisfy criteria, however we will still ask for additional information as we take great care to ensure the health and safety compliance of our contractor base. Clients choose to work with us because we enable them to have greater visibility of the health and safety compliance of their supply chain. Our system ensures that all contractors they work with have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. To make the process easier next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly. “Generally the process went well, but there seemed to be confusion with e-mail addresses, I'd sent information in to one address and then a week later get an e-mail chasing for that same information.”
