Contacted by advisor once application submitted and given advice before the application was audited advice on alterations to the industry references we had made and advised to amend and provide further information to cover all industries detailed on the application. This saved valuable time and speed the successful audit process.

it has always been a struggle every single year. I am a landscape maintenance operator and the majority of the questions relate to the building industry, so as a whole I cannot fill in many of the fields This then causes the problems of n/a in boxes that then cause me stress that I cannot be credited with the qualification. It's then back and forth with several call centre operatives to resolve it. As I said...every year without fail.

Thank you for leaving us feedback regarding your experience. We endeavour to have a variety of work categories in our system that result to a multitude of industries and professions. The level of information you need to require is dependent on your work activities and employee numbers, as our audit team is tasked with reviewing your health and safety policies are in line with the work you are doing and the team members you are responsible for. If at any point you need to speak to a member of our team regarding the documents you are required to upload or the legislation relevant to your business and work activities, then please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team directly.

On line process works well. The fact that they make contact to query things makes me feel that they do carry out a proper audit and not simply a rubber-stamping of documentation.

Safecontractor have a policy of having a single point of contact. Within our organisation, this creates a regular problem in communication. As a company, we would benefit from having at least two agreed contacts who would receive Safecontractor reminders and requests for e.g. subscription payments and accreditation updates. This would reduce the possibility of not receiving correspondence, such as this year’s 30 day notice for accreditation renewal, or your SafePQQ advice of last year.

Having one point of contact is a functionality hard coded into our system that we acknowledge can cause issues such as the one you have described. Please be assured that amending this is on our Technology roadmap for this year and a feature that we endeavour to improve. Immediate support at the touch of a phone call. Sales and service staff were easy to get hold of, pleasant to deal with, response was quick. Assessment was fast tracked accommodating our timescales with our client.
