“To be honest I did feel that the auditor was being slightly pedantic in her approach, I received the help needed to get accreditation which was really beneficial. This year I was asked for documentation on particular that I hadn’t in previous years { 1 in particular was asked for the CV of my H&S advisor, never been asked for that before. 2 was asked to fill in an inspection form, again in previous years I have never been asked for this) Business is stressful enough at the moment with our added complications of someone being so pedantic. My apologies but you did ask. Thanks Kevin”

“This is the first year we have applied for this accreditation, the process was a little more than expected, however we got through it and the communication we received was excellent and approval was received almost instantaneous, excellent service throughout.”

“It’s an online assessment that show a customer you can provide a basic safety standard on paper. They don’t carry onsite audits so can’t say it’s going to show you operate on site safely. We carry out onsite assessment with an independent H&S assessor which has much more value. Heyho it ticks a box”

“Positives - All the staff I have dealt with have been really helpful and friendly. They are quick to respond and knowledgeable. The questionnaires are well written and easy to follow, giving examples of what documents would be accepted makes the process a lot easier Negatives - Questionnaires only available 4 weeks before the end of accreditation is due for renewal which is how long it takes to be processed, leaving no room for error. I understand that this is to try to get people to pay for an express service, but it's a bit cheeky. Side note, below question "How quick did the company reply to your queries?", my answer would be 2 days but there is not an option!”

Previously, you could submit the renewal questionnaire 30 days before your expiry date. Now, we've extended that window to 60 days before expiry, giving you an additional 30 days to complete the submission. We hope this change makes a positive difference as you prepare for next year! “The original person that this was assigned to did not return e-mails or phone calls, sent a request for information that had already been provided and ignored responses. I had to ring up and complain and ask for it to be assigned to another person and state that I wanted a note on file to say that the original person it was assigned to was never to be involved with us ever again. Once a new individual was assigned it was dealt with within the week.”
