“It’s more set up for large companies who have departments to deal with filling this out. Not a three person company that never work in construction of any type and never go on to construction sites”

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on your SafeContractor accreditation. Our system ensures that all contractors they work with have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation, and your accreditation tells your potential clients that you are compliant and therefore a safe and stable company to work with. To make the process easier next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly. “The accreditation process is relatively easy but should you have any queries Safecontractor have excellent backup from their specialist on their help desk.”

“Paid money in August but so long awaiting for it to be completed, had a friend of the family helping me owing to my husband being unable to do this anymore. Finely it went ahead after xmas this year after SO many phone calls . But thanks to Viv and my friend Jon it was done .”

“Not able to to update portal with new or updated documents until 1 month before expiry. This does not give enough time to get authorised within the month period as you have a 25 working day time for accreditation! Was especially challenging for me as my 25 working days were over the Christmas period and you had shutdown for 2 weeks!”

Please be advised that our Contractor Portal is open for document uploads all year, and that the submission option is only available 30 days prior to your accreditation expiry. To make the process easier next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly.
