“Safe contractor should be simple as we are accredited by a SIPS accredited body but we still seem to have to provide a significant volume of information each year. The continued requirement for site specific task assessments written within the preceding year is sometimes an issue as we often work to a Site risk assessment with generic task assessments overlaid.”

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on your SafeContractor accreditation. If you are accredited by another SSIP body then we are able to offer you a reduced question set through the SSIP Deem to Satisfy criteria, however we will still ask for additional information as we take great care to ensure the health and safety compliance of our contractor base. Clients choose to work with us because we enable them to have greater visibility of the health and safety compliance of their supply chain. Our system ensures that all contractors they work with have the relevant documentation in place to comply with health and safety legislation. To make the process easier next year, we recommend updating your documents throughout the year via our online portal so that when the questionnaire is released 30 days before expiry you can re-submit your up to date documents quickly.
