“SafeContractor have updated their online portal for the renewal of accreditations but it is simple to use and the staff who I communicated with via email and phone were very helpful. The review process is quite slow unless you are prepared to pay for a faster service.”

Pleased that our team were able to help you and that you found the portal easy to use. Our average time from submission to accreditation for a standard package is 4 weeks, but we do try to reduce this whenever possible. To speed up the submission process and become accredited faster, we recommend uploading your updated documents throughout the year. Your user portal is accessible year-round, but your questionnaire is only released 30 days prior to accreditation expiry. Collating your updated documents ahead of the questionnaire release date will allow you to quickly submit and speed up your review process.

“Platform is user friendly, auditor nice and patient, but maybe you could take in consideration that subcontractor have to do some jobs according to clients documentation.”

“Some difficulty with providing the correct documentation as the type of business suggested that we were a Construction Design company, which we were not, and could not change the selection.”

“Renewing safe contractor could be made a little bit easier to be honest. Some questions should have a N/A choice, save trying to find what one has to put in the field for example Asbestos question. However the chat on line was a good help, and it is better than originally a couple of years ago.”

“Mostly good. The staff on the phone are very helpful, but because we don't easily fit in to the categories, the renewal can be difficult and time consuming”

“advisor was very helpful when contact was made - I think that the way notifications for evidence required are presented could be improved with perhaps a single box where and actual list of things needed could be posted”
