“Ruka Think Silk Clips Hair is off good quality and matches my hair perfectly whereas most clip-ins i have tried are a little too silky for my hair texture. I have washed the hair 12 times and the hair is still in good condition and is not shredding. I was a lady who loved weaved prior to clips but now I'm in love with clip-ins. It takes me around 15 mins to do mine so really good for those last-minute styles on a night out. I have not dyed the hair as the colour is a natural black/brown 1b which makes it even more perfect. The hair works well in the sun as I have been working in Dubai for the past 3 months and with a little light oil it's perfect. The clips are super comfortable and I sleep in them as i wear my style as i would wear a weave. The only suggestion would be to Ruka to try the pointy end clips on their hair rather than round as this would make the sliding of clips into the hair a little easier. Usually, i would use European products in my other hair but I find high-quality Afro hair products work better i.e Kere Care, Meilie,Mizani. I have now put an order in for the Body wave clip-ins so can't wait to try these out. Thanks for the good service and good hair quality Ruka :-)”
“I have relaxed hair that I straighten so decided to go with the think silk bundles. They straighten really well, hold a curl nicely, a bit of shedding but nothing out of the ordinary. Had experienced really bad bundles before from several other companies and have to find myself replacing them every month or so but these are so affordable and I can see them lasting a long time. I have 16” & 18” but will be ordering 14” too as I’d like my next install a bit fuller. Dispatched really fast too. Customer service always up to par.”
“Superb!!! with very minimal shedding. The hair texture is reminiscent to a stretched blown out 4c hair and the headband can also be tailored in to fit as required. I can’t fault this wig, I absolutely love it. C’est beau 😊”
“My package arrived really late and the packaging was torn. Luckily the wig itself was unharmed due to the plastic bag it came in.
Not really ready to wear as the knots need to be bleached. The cap does not fit my head comfortably. The flaps around the ear area are particularly uncomfortable, especially when wearing glasses. The section for the hook of the elastic band is loose so the band often falls out when putting the wig on.
For a first time wig wearer I don't think your website gives enough information about installation, making it look more straightforward than it was. It would also be preferable if you had a list of recommended professionals for wig installation as I found many in London refuse to install wigs they did not make. I went to your stand in Selfridges and the lady there, although very nice, was totally ill equipped to answer my questions - just pointing me to the website, which as I said, I found less than helpful.
On the positive side, the hair smelt good when it arrived and is soft and manageable.
All in all I was keen to support but the above reasons would prevent me being a repeat buyer. I think it would be cheaper and look better to get a wig made for me.

“I’m loving my wigs and extension pieces, they work and blend really well with my natural curl pattern and look so so natural. I think Ruka need to do a shampoo and conditioner and leave in that still makes the hair shiny and maintains the beautiful curls.
The wig I bought was a little over bleached at the roots though, so had to die it a little.”
