“I’m obsessed with Ruka!! I love their message and ethos as a company and really feel like their products do align with their overall mission. They are all about creating products that the black hair community actually need - rather than seeing the community as something to profit off and not actually reaching any of the things we value. I have brought numerous things from them now and will continue to buy more!! Couldn’t recommend them enough :)”

“I am obsessed! I’m never wearing non-textured bundles again. Although 24 inches is quite long for me, the hair is great quality, looks natural and I’ve not seen a single hair shed. I am OBSESSED with Ruka hair.”

“I bought two sets of clip ins, one straight one curly. The kinky straight clip ons are really good and the colour matched my hair well. Unfortunately when I washed them the water was brown (not nice) and seems like the colour rinsed off as they are no longer a perfect colour match with my hair. The curly clip ins shed like crazy and struggling to blend with my hair so regret this purchase. Hair feels nice overall but expected less shedding and permanent colour for the price paid.”

“Well from the first day of me receiving my curl clip ins I was excited to try them out and get them on. So as soon as I got home from work, that's what I done. I love the hand written thank you card to your customers, gives such a personal touch and I felt it. I followed the instructions given in the card, though the curls were not popping like what was shown in the image and my curls were not blending in at all. These curls look and feel more kinky than corky. I did have to use chop stick curling iron on my own hair so it would blend. Following that, the hair dries out really quick and doesn't give a nice lush curl pattern and I end up with a puff which then doesn't blend with my actual hair. I'm not able to wear these clip ins with my hair out as the curls don't stay juicy, even when using products which is a little disappointing, though perfect for up-dos. Maybe I should have went for the 3a hair, though it wasn't in stock, however, would the 3a hair clipins be a true reflection of my curls or would it turn to a 3c hair throughout the day. I love what you fabulous women do and what/who you represent.”

“I didn't want to leave this review but I thought about it and I feel it is good to give feedback. I bought Press'd Lace Wig × 1 and I have not been able to enjoy it as it shreds more than normal and is difficult to fit and style. It has been a very awful experience with it compared to the other units I have bought from you. I hope someone will look into it as I am very excited that we have a brand that caters to coloured skin. I am almost like your brand ambassador and I have referred countless of people to your Westfield branch before you moved. I am sorry I am unable to upload the wig at this time.”

“I love love love the hair it’s beautiful and blends so well, I only have 2 problems one is there are quite a few greys and copper hairs in the bundles this is a real shame as it means the colour differs from my natural hair, I don’t want to dye the bundles as I don’t want them to dry out. Second problem might be user error but it tends to matte in clumps and the matting is so tight that when I try to detangle them I lose a chunk of the hair! I just wish it didn’t matte so much, I plait it at night and take good care of it but still major matting! That being said I love them so much that I brought them again, as I won’t get more than 1 use out of the bundle (due to the matting). Over all amazing hair that is so much like our natural hair thank you so much for giving us options!!”

“i ordered another coils on coils ponytail, the first one i ordered was 20” and it’s lovely but i just wanted it longer, so i ordered another one in 24” but i think i actually prefer the shorter one just because it had more curl definition that i wanted that the longer one didn’t have 🥺”

“As someone who only has sew-ins I never thought I could have clips but GIRLLLLL I AM IN LOVE !!!!!!!! .. I purchased the pressed clip-ins and they feel amazing I can't even feel them I can tie it up as I work in a hospital and my hair is natural and the blend is on point the hair is soft it's just beautiful 😍.. thank you”

“I ordered a mist-ical spray bottle recently and am very happy with it. It’s a very good quality product, looks nice and is so much easier to use than a normal spray bottle. The delivery time was quick and it was packaged nicely. No complaints!”
