“Well designed website made choosing the right castor easy. Ordering process straightforward. Delivery charges a bit high at over £5.00. Delivery date was meant to be quick within 2 days and the delivery alert system was helpful. However, despite being told of exact one hour delivery slot - the delivery failed to happen and I wasted time staying in for it - it was rescheduled from the Friday to the Monday but that meant waiting a further delay over the weekend. My email note to Ross complaining of failed delivery was not acknowledged. I appreciate delivery is done by a third party but Ross should have taken ownership of the order and contacted the courier.”

“I’m sure that the Castors are fine on a wooden floor but on a carpet they move about a bit. Not quite what I was hoping for. Your product is well made and quite attractive to look at.”

“The wheels received were too small to fit on the bars for the sack barrow we have. The diameter was correct and service was good, but we need to send back and arrange wheels with a larger guage for the centre hole. Please can someone advise. Thank you.”

“Tubing was covered in dirty finger prints and marked, did not fit base plates as said on website. Also received bad customer service from one guy, but quickly corrected by another customer service guy. Products however are of good quality and extra purchasing of products elsewhere to make them fit.”

“Ordered eight casters. Four with a threaded support stand and four with a flat plate with four fixing holes. I used two of the four threaded casters to replace two identical casters which had cracked and broken on the bottom of My John Lewis bed. A double made of two singles with a gas strut lifting lids. The four casters with the flat plates were added to the middle of the beds creating six casters per bed improving on the original four. Delivery was delayed as the items were not in stock at the time of order. Overall simple to fit but I can not comment on long term reliability.”

“I ordered 8 castors. Received an email invoice for 6 having paid for 8. So, I telephoned about the invoice. Told two castors would follow. So, I asked when they would come, thinking they were out of stock. No, turns out they had other two in stock and could that they could have been sent out. The following 2 arrived a day later. Inconvenient as delayed the job and irritating as delivery cost was for two day delivery not 3 or more. The castors themselves are fine and as expected.”

“A point I wish you to amend. The thickness of the not cast to the stem is extreamly thin you cannot get a standard thickness open ended spanner onto the nut to hold it while tightening the loose nut and get a secure fixing.”

“Good quality product being 6" Wheels. The only problem was finding them on the website which seems poorly laid out to me. The process though from selecting the product was very good including delivery”

“Excellent service. I would have rated very good were it not for the delivery cost. Your website initially indicated that the delivery would be about £4.50.when I went to checkout it tyrned out to be over £16 delivery.. i appreciate that you benefit from a contract with a single carrier but the delivery charge was totally disproportional to the small item I purchased. You appear however to be the sole supplier. Not a very fair deal!”

“Although I ordered some wheels 5 days ago i have not even received an email to say that the wheels have been shipped yet. Considering that the website stated that the wheels would be shipped via a Fedex 2 day service I feel that i can not rate Ross as a five star supplier. Hopefully the wheels will arrive soon, but i am not too optimistic at the moment. Just had an email to let me know that they are out of stock - hopefully i will get them in Mid-Jan.”

“unfortunately the casters are not the correct type the chair spigot is too long and too thin so can I return them”

“Not so impressed with the quality of these casters. The base plates are poorly riveted to the shafts and warped. Split washers were used where the casters need to swivel freely. Would have bought them elsewhere but could not find the right size. Price probably reflects these errors.”
