The items I bought were very good quality and at a fair price. My only gripe was with their speed of service which was very slow and it was only after I had contacted them, ten days after placing my order, that I was informed there was a supply problem. The phone call I received made me think my order would arrive imminently but I still had to wait a further week. After that, though, the items were just as described and did the job I needed them for with no difficulty. Just a pity I had to wait so long.

Unfortunately, company dispatched the wrong parts initially. Dry good & efficient customer services department got the issue sorted rapidly & ensured the correct (ordered) parts were dispatched promptly.

Took much longer than I had hoped for the order to arrive but it arrived in good condition and I'm happy with it.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, Phil. I can confirm that the goods left us a on the 3rd May after the order was placed on the 2nd as promised. It does look as thought the parcel has been stuck in the DPD system and not made its way to you. Overall OK. My order did get stuck in your system for a few days - I had to call to progress the order so received items it later than expected.

There were some delays in delivering parts of my order but in discussing this with customer service who responded by return and all were received within the week.

Product (5 plastic inserts for office chair approximately 2 oz )very good, response very quick. Price £4.90 acceptable. £5.50 standard delivery in an envelope via post - ridiculous!! If it hadn’t been urgent……

Castors ordered are great however next day delivery at a premium turned into 3-day delivery. Lazy delivery person not bothered which does not look good for Ross Castors.

Always been happy with the service which has been spot on, had an issue with the last order when the bore of the plastic wheels are not parallel which meant they would not go onto the axle, Ross did their best to sort but rather than wait around I purchased a hand reamer to ream the bore of the wheels parallel and then they fitted perfect. probably made in China where tolerances can be anywhere from experience. Still will use Ross though but the hand reamer sorts any Chinese poor manufacturing.

The antique brass castors arrived on time & were well packaged. My only criticism is that I had expected each castor to be accompanied by the three little side screws that the moulding has holes for.

Hi, Yes I placed an order for 4x antique brass casters but only 2x have arrived. I have contacted yourselves to enquire about the outstanding 2x casters of when we can expect delivery. I paid for 4x casters.

I ordered a set of 50mm wheels which were duly received but the centres were approx. 12mm diametre whereas the chair I have has 10mm dia. stems. I have returned the wheels by post to Ross Handling and am awaiting replacement wheels. John Waterhouse Poynton

The wheel when fitted is stiff to turn which the old one wasn’t. I only bought the solid tyre one from you because I was tired of punctures on the pneumatic original.

The wheel I ordered arrived promptly and seems entirely satisfactory. The only issues I had were contradictory emails about delivery and the fact that the website ordering didn't work on my laptop (Chrome browser on Linux) so I resorted to ordering from my phone.

Deliver was quick but item was delivered to 34 as stated on the label when I live at 24 . I've only been here 6 months and glad the people at number 34 new my name

Looked a good product but the roller bearings used were 10mm shorter than the axle . Guess they ran out of the proper size ones. Bit disappointed for the price

If you could create on your website something to discuss delivery options. For myself I was concerned about my delivery arriving on a date when there would be nobody to receive it and 2 arrangements were made independent of each other. This resulted in the items being delivered too soon. A fairly expensive order was left propped up against my house which was exactly the risk I had tried to avoid. This suggests poor communication between sales and dispatch but could be mitigated given an option to request delivery under certain circumstances. Thanks however for the customer service i did receive and the ease of access to the products I needed. The delivery received and in good order.

I puchased a replacement wheelbarrow wheel for a Walsall wheelbarrow (code WWPP). However, the adapters supplied with the wheel apparently need to be hammered into the hub (There were no instructions to do this and I only became aware of the need to do this when I called customer services) When hammered in as suggested, it made the effective hub length 11.4 cms compared to the stated length of 10cms. This extra 1.4cms meant that the wheel did not fit the frame and I had to cut 0.7cms off each of the adapters to allow for correct fitment. This should be rectified as soon as possible as other prospective purchasers may make the same error. The photo on the website shows a slightly different wheel to the one supplied and the adaptors look very different to the ones which appear to have already been installed in the website photo. Overall, I was pleased with the response from customer services but the product placement needs clarifying in my opinion. Delivery was prompt and fuss free.

Ordered some braked castors for tv unit being made. Product fine but 2 week delayed delivery. Order & payment taken promising 2 day turnaround. After 4 days chased customer service who said item would be dispatched immediately & received in 2 days. Then received another call to say item was in fact out of stock. Item arrived a week later

When I ordered castors, were showing as in stock but after paying and waiting a while, did a chat and found they would be 3 months. This hadn't been communicated to me. Asked again after 3 months. Told another week, had a call to say the following week. I had to chase again and they did arrive. Made in China stamped on them so that explains delay. When I originally spoke to them they did change there site to reflect that these were a specialist order. Love the industrial castors though. Exactly what I wanted.
