“Item never received due to incompetent courier - DX. No prior notification given that signature was required (for £56 order). Re-booked delivery and took a day off to wait in for the item that never arrived. Laughably, roof-bars.co.uk now say they won't refund me until DX have shipped the item back to them. Looks like we're both in for a disappointing wait.”

We apologise for the bad experience you feel you've had. As a company, we have fulfilled every obligation of the order. Order was despatched on time, courier attempted to deliver within the timeframes stated (it's not their fault the customer isn't home to accept delivery). We do not allow couriers to leave goods without a signature unless the customer specifies this up front and is willing to take full responsibility. We ship goods up to £2500 in value so naturally we tell our courier not to leave items on the doorstep (we have in the past and too many go missing at a huge cost to us as a company). The courier is not aware of the value of each item they are delivering, they are following our instructions. We apologise that the courier didn't deliver on the re-scheduled date and we will take it up with them. All delivery and returns policies are found on our website at the bottom. All details of delivery and returns requirements are clearly detailed.
