“My bars had scuffs all over them. Couple examples shown, nothing major but I thought these were supposed to be brand new. All assembled fine but a bit disappointed. Urgently needed them for a weekend away so not able to send back and exchange.”

“£6.95 postage to send two tiny replacement keys in an A4 Jiffy bag is really disappointing.”

Hi Ross, I agree £6.95 seems a lot for a small envelope, but we have given up sending replacement keys via Royal Mail on a cheaper service as they were simply not reliable. “Thule bars really good. However I went for the "frequently bought together" option and bought a Thule box too. Unfortunately, despite putting in my car reg, the box is too big and I am now stuck with it.”

“Replacement keys fine. Delivery not fine. If I had known you use DX, I wouldn't have ordered from you. They are, at least where I live, the worst delivery company. They give you a delivery date and never deliver on that date.”

“Roof Box was delivered late, and the packaging it came in was very damaged, although luckily not the roof box itself. I did get a refund for the delivery charge. All in all, not good, not bad.”

Hi David, Sorry to hear the 2 end caps were missing from your order, have you checked inside the slots of the bars? This is a common question we get from our customers regularly, it is not an obvious place to look for the endcaps, but it is where Thule store them for shipping. If they are not inside the bars let us know and we will get some replacements sent out to you as soon as possible. Thanks Stuart

“Good serviced but be aware of very high shipping cost and excessive tax. Will not use again because of this. When placing order had assumed I was getting two keys for the price charged, my mistake.”

“Thule roof bars would seem to be very well made and thought out. I especially like the "torque wrench" tool to tighten the brackets to the car - it means you cannot overtighten the bolts and pull them out. Only negative was the delivery process. A courier company delivered the parcel a day late - even though I had had notification of a time slot for the day before. I appreciate Roof-Bars do not have direct control over their delivery company - perhaps they need to consider a different one.”

“Ordered item for £2 but had to pay £6.95 postage for a very small padded envelope. Tried to track original dispatch but it never arrived. Phoned up and issue quickly resolved with replacemeny item now delivered. All good on the end but postage is a bit pricey”

“Easy to fit and the sliding mechanism I chose is perfect for its use I intended. Wind noise / vibration is an issue to be worked out. Wind deflector, rope around the bags, adjusting position and slowing down are tips from other users.”
