This review is purely based on delivery. I still haven’t received my parcel. Roof bars.co.uk use DX delivery who are awful. They didn’t deliver my parcel on the day selected. Then they tried on a nine selected day and claimed no one was home which isn’t true. Now I’m at the depot which is absolutely hideous and they can’t find my parcel… total shit… I’ll use Halfords next time

Still waiting for the courier to deliver. Thule kit is superb - had many different products. Hoping these bars will be equally good WHEN they arrive!!!

Needed the bars urgently so i paid the extra for next day delivery and you failed to not only deliver them on time but to notify me of the delay. Impossible to contact. I would not recommend you to anyone, but would warn people to avoid using you.

I ordered a bike rack on 15th September I was informed it would arrive on the 18th September. The delivery arrived at 11.00 but when I opened it it was a roof box not the bike rack I was expecting. I was very disappointed because we were about to put our bike on the rack and go on our holidays.. we had to hire bikes at 60/day which was an unexpected cost. Not happy at all. Had to rearrange a pickup of the wrong item and delivery of correct after our holidays.

Ordered just two keys and these were dispatched by DX courier when Royal Mail would have made more sense. DX failed to attempt delivery. Spoke to Roof Bars who agreed to contact DX and get items returned to them and refund me. Contrary to that DX subsequently delivered after we had moved house so now I have neither the keys or a refund.

Sorry for any disappointment caused. We don't use Royal Mail anymore as they lose too many parcels and don't provide any tracking service. That's why we use a fully tracked courier service. The tracking shows your order was delivered on the 2nd October, 4 working days after you placed the order. You selected our standard 2-5 working day delivery, thus we have delivered to the address provided within the timescales stated. Many Thanks

you are asking for a review and i am still waiting on parts,this delivery company is a joke,first 2 attempts they said no one in and left calling card,we are open 24 hrs and no card, 3rd attempt after changing address to make delivery easier,they turned up but could not find part on van, so i will have to stay in again and wait on the next try today

I contacted roof bars.co.uk asked about boxes and parts at about 9.20am on a Thursday. I was told buy a sales representative that if I order parts before 2pm I would get them next day. So I ordered the parts before 10am on the same day and then only received it 4 days later. I sent a email and did not even get a apology just tuff and the postage was ridiculous expensive. So watch out for the customer service once you have bought you will have after service problems.

Sent incorrect fitting kit - order was for BMW 2 active tourer with flush rails 2022- You sent kit fir Honda CRV. You do nit answer the phone fir an exchange to be made!

Can't get my item bought nearly 2 weeks ago now. Their delivery partner (DX) is absolutely shocking - no tracking, no way to contact, you just sort of hope it turns up on the day when they say it will - but it doesn't. Second time already, a week apart. UPDATE: the item finally arrived (a week later than scheduled, on a day I didn't expect, as DX doesn't tell you when it will be around - or if it does, it will lie). Packaging damaged, scratches on the item itself. As long as DX is the delivery partner, I will never buy anything again and wouldn't recommend others to try their luck either. If you're buying a roofbar, it's probably ahead of some trip, so if the goods don't arrive, you're probably in for an emergency trip to Halfords.

Was going to purchase some Thule Fat bike straps but the postage was £29.95 for something weighing 140g. Totally ridiculous shipping costs. Purchased elsewhere and shipping was free.

Thank you for pointing this out, it looks like your address is an offshore island and our standard postage rate for this service has been applied to this item. You are correct I'm sure we can send an item that only weighs 140g to an offshore island for a lot less than £29.95. Our web team will address this and rectify the postage costs on this item. Under Honda civic you show the red model with glass sunroof. Yet the search tool only lists items "normal roof w/out glass roof". Do you do them, or maybe change the picture?

Hi Barry, I have looked into this for you, your order was shipped the day after you placed your order but for some unknown reason the courier company returned the roof box to us without any paperwork. We have located the box and will send it out today for you on a next day service on a next day service.
