“I bought a Thule bike carrier from their sister company earlier this year and was extremely pleased with the service I received. So when it came to buying a set of roof bars I didn' have to give it much thought as to where I should go to. Excellent sevice and thoroughly reommended.”

“Not a great experience. I needed some roof bars for my car, the website stated that the ones I purchased after I input my vehicle Reg were compatible. I later found out when fitting them, they were not. Zero apologies. Zero effort to update the website to help others in the future. If you return anything you have to get it ‘approved’ before you do & you will have to cover cost of return. For what should have been an easy order, it really wasn't. Won’t be using them again.”

Although your car has raised roof rails, Thule’s official recommendation for your model is the 6078 fitting kit paired with the 7206 foot pack. This combination clamps directly and securely to the rail, providing the optimal and safest fit. The 7204-foot pack you mentioned can be used, but it is not the recommended configuration for your vehicle. We understand that roof bar compatibility can be confusing, which is why we follow the manufacturer’s fitment guidance rather than relying solely on rail type. That said, we appreciate your comments and will review our product pages to ensure the information is even clearer for future customers. “Good piece of kit. Assembly instruction hard to follow especially not realising that pivot bars have to fully engaged into slot to stop bike tilting over . Needed a tap with mallet to fully secure.”

“I recently purchase a set of Kayak J bars from roof-bars.co.uk, they arrived promptly and well wrapped. During fitting we found a found a manufacturing fault. We took photo's of the fault & serial number and emailed these to roof-bars.co.uk asking how they would like to proceed. Very shortly afterwards I had a response confirming that they were in communication with the manufacturer. By the end of the day a new set of J bars had been dispatched to me and the collection had been arranged for the damaged set. Great service from both roof-bars.co.uk and the manufacturer. Thanks”

“Thule distributor, good product Disappointed with initial pricing, requested if discount was available as looking at options. Quote " we don't offer discounts". Shopped around, had stock which was key, others where cheaper but longer lead time. Order a rack AND box. After delivery......a discount was offered for next order......... that's not going to happen., and if I knew, I would've just ordered one item, with the item no doubt being shipped offered with the said discount. Poor delivery, left on driveway, no attempt to contact, visible to all, worth almost £700, worse, packaging obviously damaged. Box was damaged. Happy with how they resolved, replacement or £50 refund. Took refund as needed to use. No discount discussion more if an issue. I won't be back.”
