“The company got us out of a jam , just before we went on holiday, as we’d lost the keys to our Thule roof box. The guy was very helpful when I phoned the company and he guided me through the best way to get replacement keys in the nick of time. Thanks for the great service! Geoff”

Hi Peter, I believe this review is regarding the same order as the anonymous review we received 2 days ago. The bars are not faulty they are supposed to have a slight bend in them, all Thule roof bars have a slight bow out of the box. The bend allows for tension that will be applied when the foot pack is tightened to the roof and will straighten out once properly installed. If you can send us a picture of the bars mounted on your Audi A5 we can advise you if they are fitted correctly.

“After purchasing roofbars for my Audi A5 originally paying for next day delivery, then being informed it wasnt going to be available, I waited a week for delivery which should have been sooner. Then upon delivery they were poorly packaged and once I had installed the bars it was bought to my attention that they are bowed. I'm very disappointed to say the least.”

Hi, I am sorry to hear you were not happy with your recent order, we are rarely out of stock of fitting kits but unfortunately on this occasion, we were waiting for the kits to come in from Thule. We refunded your next-day delivery and shipped your order on a next-day service as soon as it arrived (3 working days after your order). I apologise if the packaging was not intact when your parcel arrived sometimes once items have gone through the courier network the packaging can get damaged. Concerning the bars being bowed all Thule roof bars have a slight bow out of the box. The bend allows for tension that will be applied when the foot pack is tightened to the roof and will straighten out once properly installed.

“Ordered additional keys for a Thule car bike rack. Item was easy to find on the Roof-Bars.co.uk website using the key ref. number and the order was placed without any difficulty. Keys were delivered promptly although I did feel that the postage fee of £6.95 was excessive on an order of around £9 and given that the small package contained just two very small keys. Nevertheless, the keys did arrive quickly and importantly securely, which I was very satisfied with. Based on this experience I would not hesitate to recommend Roof-Bars.co.uk”

“Very good quality bars, instructions are good if you follow them properly could be helpful if they marked the feet left and right but once the wingbars are put into the feet you see how they go onto roof and everything else is easy to follow”

“Order arrived in good time and all parts present and in working order. The YouTube tutorial was helpful and the assembly went without issue. The product feels sturdy, good quality and secured (using the Honda CRV extra attatchment parts) easily to the roof rails. Happy with the purchase.”

“Roof bars were great the product but the product Option A - THULE Roof Rack For HYUNDAI Santa Fe (TM) 5-Door SUV 2018-2024 With Flush Rails (SQUAREBAR) × 1 Absolute rubbish there is nothing to hold the slide bar in place and due to the weight it just knocks the end lug off, luckily it did not damage my car. I have purchased some replacement some rubber strip and fitted that.”
