“Overall, I’m happy with both product and service. However, the communication between store and mail order could be better. I had goods delivered to my local store. They were very good at phoning when items arrived but it would have been helpful if they were aware of the whole order and only called me when all items were in store. I ended up going to collect to find only one item of 7 had arrived. I also understand that returns to store come off their sales figures even when the original sale was mail order. This seems poor accounting and demotivational for the store.”

“A long-time fan of your comfortable clothing and friendly staff. Only affordable at sale times! Only regrets would be that the range evolves too often and quickly. Look for a favourite garment only to find it's no longer available. This and a tendency for zips to fail and buttons to detach.”

“I love Rohan clothes. However, I would give 5 stars but. On the returns slip there is a box for exchange but no indication how to use it. So I sent back a pair of trousers that didn't fit, am waiting for a refund and have ordered a different size. A waste of time all round”

“I have been using Rohan gear for quite a number of years. However, I am becoming disappointed with the number of sales. I now will not purchase an item I know the same will be available at a sale price in a few months.”

“I have been a Rohan customer since 1972/3 (Not sure exact date). Initially, Rohan clothing was indestructible, it was light, stylish and made of new materials until then not used in clothing. For outdoor pursuits it was excellent. Unfortunately, in recent years, the standards have dropped in the quest I think to bring out new styles every year or even 6 months. There have been size problems, wear problems and seemingly a lack of knowledge of whom your customer base are. Please can we have fewer changes and more concentration on design and quality? Yours faithfully (Just) 82 year old active hiker.”

“The quality of the clothes is very high. The styles are fine, although some are a little old-fashioned. This year's colour palette was dominated by orange, which was unpleasant. The shop assistant suggested that the company was trying to appeal to a younger age range, but the products are too expensive overall for many young people. Rohan should offer more than two main colours for each season's garments, and remember that many of their customers are over the age of 50.”
