“Ordering and delivery all good. Trousers are a good fit, lightweight and comfortable (except the waistband) and perfect for Autumn walks. Light rain showers are no problem. The only thing I would change is the drawstring waistband. It is quite uncomfortable over a long walk. I have felt obliged to sew some belt loops to make the trousers more comfortable.”

“Quality fabrics, innovative and very easy to wear - great for unpredictable weather in the fells. Really good they cater for a wide range of sizes including tall women (6ft 3) which can be difficult!”

“Best underpants for men though quite pricey ( £25) , they are the most comfortable I’ve found in 60 years! I’m having difficulty with the online store ( even the Facebook page) though it might be at my end , can’t even ‘like’ and bit concerned - is the company continuing?? and would like to find an outlet in London ?”

“Great Gear. BUT ... It's Outdoorsy clothing for Indoorsy people. When will Rohan stop using that crappy nylon netting like material for lining their sleeves and pockets. It snags on hands that have any hint of rough skin.”

“The online ordering experience is good, It could be improved, but more than adequate. The option of store pick up is very useful. A more detailed survey on hoe to improve service AND design (which, even as a loyal customer I have to say it REALLY needs) would be more beneficial than this superficial survey”

“i have bought Rohan clothes since the 1970s. Usually very good, althoughover the years there have been some dreadful mistakea. ai wish you would make bigger sizes The zip nas broken in one peir od my winter ramblers - I am not happy about this.. Rohan clothes wash and wear extremely well, and need little or no ironing”

“Always quality clothing and great customer service. Would love to see more jackets and tops which are longer in length than the inevitable short style which has flooded the market. You made a super tunic type top years ago - versatile option to roll up sleeves and flattering softly gathered front. Wish you would make some of the those again. Also make shorter lengths in all the range of trousers for women plus large clip on waist band for keys, dog treat bag etc”

“Design of products very good. Materials, excellent. Descriptions accurate and informative. Sizing on tops (shirts, jackets, jumpers) very good, extremely consistent. Sizing on trousers unfortunately very variable. Waist sizes are accurate, inside leg measurements vary widely. Some are spot on, others I’ve had to have adjusted with almost 2” taken off, several others I wear regardless of excess length even though it spoils the look / drape. Overall though an excellent range which I enjoy wearing almost every day!”

“I have bought a large quantity of clothing from Rohan over the years and most of it is of good quality. I still have 3 Checkmate shirts from many years ago which, apart from needing some cuff buttons replacing remain in perfect condition despite regular wear. Unfortunately, as production has been moved out of Europe, the quality and longevity of some items has noticeably deteriorated. Shirts made from Thermocore materials are particularly prone to cuff and collar wear and even holes developing adjacent to cuffs after relatively short periods. I have noticed problems with stitching quality on trousers on a number of occasions and have also had multiple fly zip failures. Other items such as jackets and fleece products seem to be fine. Whereas in the past I would have had no hesitation in recommending Rohan I am now more hesitant; a return to the previous high standards would be most welcome.”

“Good range of lightweight, quick drying, travel gear. Shame the colour schemes are often horrid. And I really wish they would add belt loops to far more of their trousers (the age range of women they target need this option to cope with bloating for all sorts of reasons!).”

“Good quality, long lasting clothes. Great for travel and outdoor activities like birdwatching. Especially like the fact that trousers are mostly available in shorter versions for the "vertically challenged"! Only negative comment is that sleeves are nearly always too long on tops and blouses. Any chance of shorter versions please?”
